Man I can’t believe it’s been ten years since the reunion tour. I got to see it when they came to Columbus and other than pavement in 2010 it’s the best show I’ve ever seen. I didn’t see a single phone being held up the entire show the crowd was just completely locked In the moment. I swear everyone there sang along every single word to every single song as loud as they could yet In between songs it was completely silent. I’ve never experienced a vibe like that before or since and I have been to hundreds of shows. Truly a magical band that I feel so grateful to have witnessed in person.

I don't I claimed to meet or know them, but I did indeed see NMH several times in the late 1990's. I would have to look up most of the dates, but I was at the first few Terrastocks, so that is two times, and the first Terrastock was in 1997, and yes I have photos to prove it. Saw them in Princeton and NYC with Elf Power and Music Tapes a year or so later. The last time wasn't NMH, but Mangum was part of Circulatory System. That show ended with Jeff egging on WCH to get on with his solo encore, which caused a mini breakdown by Hart. Weirdest ending to concert I have ever seen. I hope that satisfies your bizarre, doubting, curiosity...
