This applies when speed is low. When the speed is more than 70 , keeping it in neutral will save more fuel. And engaging gear will slow down the engine pretty quick.

Accelerate Karo Bilkul Halka sa. bole to Naam Matra waala.. ;) .. YE bhai poori galat nahi hai.. Engine Neutral Tab karo jab aapko maloom hai ki aage Brake lagaani hai.. Agar aage brake nahi lagaani to halke wala accelerate karo :D .. Speed increase hogi aur jo petrol engine pi raha hai uska bhi wasooli hogi.. 30 35 SE Neeche Neutral karna koi khaas laabh nahi deta , haan agar brake hi maarni hai neutral rakho safety ke liye ;) ..

Bhai aapki baat bahut sahi lagi... but bro jab aapko gear me rkhte ho to engine speed control krne lgta hai but gravitational pull ki bjeh se jo wheels me motion bnta hai wo crank shaft se Juda hota jo piston ko move kraata hai, and is process me full ki consumption jyaada hoti hai, because piston ko move krne k liye bhi fuel chahiye hota bde bhai .... mai isse mobile app se nai practically check kiya hua hai and me roj pahadon me drive krta hun,,,... pehle mera man gaali dene ka ho raha tha par aapka point bhi sahi lgaa, but as I work for some time for automobile,, tbhi bol ra...

I learnt this from a horrible experience, when my innova brake got failed because one of my friend drove on neutral in hilly area and through that brakes got hot and eventually failed. So that day i learnt about engine braking and how important is that.

Note pls read fully. Acchhi info hai Gagan bhai. Bahot sari Hybrid cars mein yeh chhez (deceleration) se Power Saving aur Power Regeneration kiya jata hai. Best Example: Maruti Suzuki ki SHVS technology, jo ki Ertiga, Ciaz me aati hai. Jisme aap high speed me (aur downhills pe bhi) throttle pedal se paav utha do to SHVS ki light jalti hai dashboard pe, engine braking bhi hota hai, saath saath Power Regeneration bhi hota hai (jo ki gaadi ki heavy battery me store hota hai), aur jab signal pe /toll booth pe stop hone par Neutral kardo aur cluth chhod do tab engine off kar deti hai aur battery se ac aur accessories chalati hai... SHVS aap Neutral me chalaoge to fuel use jyada hota hai jab ke engine braking se Regeneration ka faayda milta hai. Gagan ji iss baare me bhi logon ko aware karne ki jarurat hai. Thanks for the video.

Iske saath-saath kuchh log sochte hain ki clutch dabaa ke chalne se bhi fuel bachega. Uska bhi same explanation hai - clutch se ulta zyaada fuel consume hoga engine ko idle pe chalne ke liye.

AVG hamesha km/h ÷distance agar aap gear Mai hai to speed Ko slow karte hai. Wheel jitne free rotate karenge to Kam fuel supply Mai to AVG Jada hoge aur gear Mai honge to car automatically speed Ko control karege. Bas car off na kare aur take sensors on rahe aur brake pe control kare I face same scene in Himachal in my Fiat Punto and I saw drastically AVG increase.

Dear bro if we put it Neutral the car will cover more distance however if u keep in Gear the car will slow down faster , covering less distance . Fuel is cut off in both but distance covered will Vary a Lot.

Hills par niche aate time Gaadi kabhi bhi neutral nahi rakhni chahiye , hamesha speed ke according ek gear down rakho, Taki Gaadi jyada speed na le, Sirf break par depend rahoge to breaks heat up hoke fail ho sakti hai.
