@@laurinha2892 While it was never confirmed what's the exact meaning, most people agreed on it being Karma or Karmic Retribution. That's what he uses to deal the additional poison-like damage (marked in purple on your HP bar).

Actually you can get to a max of level 17 for the normal ending. Level 18 is always skipped in the no mercy run, and you don’t get enough exp in neutral or aborted no mercy run. The stats for the level are still coded in those

The best part is that it’s entirely possible and very easy to just skip the vulkins. You can just take the elevator straight to Muffet, and no room after that can cause an encounter until the core.
