I'm an Irish citizen and like most working class i don't want Ireland complicid in assisting in any way in any type of USA-UK imperialist expansion , and this also means no to NATO using Irish airspace Irish national water's ports or airports , and no to any Irish defence forces involved in any way in illegal wars proxy wars or other type of incursion activities for NATO USA UK crown. The Irish taxpayer's pay taxes for education healthcare and housing and not for a foreign vulture fund venture based on warmongering to building nuclear bases on Irish soil. Every US base in Europe is a legitimate target in time of US war. Ireland's national forces are well appreciated at home in civil emergencies and abroad in UN humanitarian peacekeeping. our role as . As a pro neutrality nation, and as a free independent democratic republic in the World. it's our choice to decide who we are and what we commit to or not. The mainstream corporate media and corrupt politicians and idiotic tabloids are just sellouts who will try to browbeat us into submission, to give up our critical thinking , into going along with the defunct empire's rhetoric lies about History a fairytale of them saving the world and a moral obligation to Ireland to show loyalty just for a few bob in backhanders Nope the Irish people will not buy that claptrap. The Irish yes we know who we are where we stand and why. No one can tell us what we should think or do!

Mabey you must use your resistance in the future against invaders ? And more than likely they will take Ireland in one day ? And probably forbid the Irish language? Lets hope that that will never happen .

If the speaker want an weapons free buffer zone in the Ukraine then a similar buffer zone must be established in Russia. 300 km wide in the Ukraine 300 km wide in Rissia . Than I will agree .

For me I would join Nato to protect us . Ireland can never defend itself against a powerfull invader .
