Man! You got some rust damage on that frame. I'm not sure if that's even enough to solve this rust problem. I hope you can use other products as you mentioned in the comments. Wax products are great. CRC makes a great marine solution and Fluid Film is a known product as well. Check out Project Farm's channel for the undercoating corrosion tests. Take care! 👍

I heard good stuff about Krown oil spay, but your supposed to get it done in the summer when everything is dry so the oil soaks in.

FYI you can't "neutralize" salt like you can an acid. When you neutralize an acid you are giving it something to oxidize and that consumes the acid. Salt rusts steel not because the salt is consumed by the steel but because salt makes water conductive. You can't neutralize the sodium and chloride ions because they're already in a very low energy state. You can only rinse the salt off.

What about removing the rust, prime, paint and coated.

Use a pressure washer at the highest setting and remove loose rust that way, then use Surface Shield or Fluid Film. Spray inside the frame and body holes too. It will never rust.

I'm doing a new video soon of cleaning some rust and spraying this Cosmoline wax spray I've been reaserching. Wax seems to be the way to go.
