Neutron Beam Port Plug installation at ESS

Күн бұрынThe installation of Neutron Beam Port Plugs and Inserts have started on the ESS site. The inserts contain neutron optics that will guide the moderated neutrons on the very first part of their journey towards the sample position of each instrument.
In this video the successful installation of the very first port plug and neutron beam window is shown.
