I've got a Neutron Soft Envy. Great feel, great durability, consistent flight, and I like forehanding it as well, which I can't do well with most putters. I also picked up an Electron Atom for putting recently. It's a good putter, but I also found it flies like a laser beam on a slight hyzer flip. I got it out to 280ft+. Looks a touch more stable than the Proxy, which I have yet to throw.

Yes! Love that disc.

I picked up a neutron soft Envy about a year ago and its been pretty neutral from the get go. It's currently the straightest flying of the three Envy's I currently bag, the others being a total eclipse and a super beat in fission thats got some flip to it now.

Cool. This new run is pretty stable. Not overstable, but can handle speed and has a strong finish to it.

@@PartTimeDiscGolf I'm probably going to have to pick one of these ones up. That stamp is killer!

I love my mvp discs but there seems to be some noticeable inconsistency from run to run. I’ve got like 6 neutron craves and each one I get is a mystery to where it’s gonna be compared to others.

Your Thought Space shirt reminded me - If you have a Mana hanging around, you might trying throwing it with a Detour and see how they compare. Pretty similar flights. Good to see the video of the new Proxy and Envy. I bag both molds in the stock Neutron Soft plastic and they're never leaving the bag. Nice work.

That's a great idea! I bag both the Detour and Mana. Mana is my super flippy guy, Detour is more straight to flippy.

@@PartTimeDiscGolf - You could also throw in a Buzzz SS and/or Discmania Origin for comparison. All really good molds.

Stable in disc golf means it will not flip over when thrown hard. It will fly straight with a fade at the end of the flight. Understable means the disc will flip over and usually hit the ground.

How does the stability compare to total eclipse plastic?
@PartTimeDiscGolf3 ай бұрын
It’s more stable. Total eclipse was pretty straight for me. This one has more stability.

@@PartTimeDiscGolf I bag both a total eclipse and neutron soft and have found the opposite to be true. My neutron soft is an older run though.

I just lost my envy in the water last week. Maybe this one can replace it.

What would you call overstable?
@PartTimeDiscGolf3 ай бұрын
Overstable would be a disc that has a lot of fade to it. If you throw it RHBH (right hand back hand) the disc will move to the left a lot when thrown flat. Understable, the disc would turn to the right. Stable or Neutral means the disc is going to go straight 90% of the flight. Sometimes us disc golfers say a disc is stable and really mean overstable. It’s a little confusing.

My glow envy wasn't that stable either. It's dead straight when thrown flat. But it is very consistent
@PartTimeDiscGolf3 ай бұрын
Nice. Yeah, some of those Envy are just dead straight reliable throwers. Nothing wrong with that.
