I played first time on a course today, 10+ trough 9 holes :D First time putting, first time with proper discs and it was so dope ! Nice course to, short holes but lot of OB, island, mando, dropzones and everything. Gonna get this bastard at even soon ! :)

Welcome to the sport! 5 months ago, I was giving up on my local course before completing the round, after losing all my discs. Now I average +2 on the same course, and very rarely lose a disc. Stay with speed 5 and under discs, until you can throw consistently. You'll shave months, or even years off of your learning curve.

Another challenge: prepare by selecting exactly one disc in each speed 2-14. Each hole is played with one disc only. Both players start with speed 2 discs. Win or share means you move up one step in speed. Player with highest speed at the end wins.

Kind of similar to a putting game I thought of. You start with a certain amount of putters and each putt you miss you leave on the ground (you lose that putter) and you try to make as many putts as possible before running out of putters. You should basically never run out of putters but we know how that goes lol

I'd just start taking *all* putters. Ha! Then I watch and it's exactly what Simon does. Take the slowest discs first and steal their control. No putts, more difficult approaches.

Many brands make specifiic names but simon is using his sponsor discs, that is Discmania. They have very simple and logic naming pattern, P is putters, MD mid ranges FD fairway DD distance and PD power drivers. Number after letters is stability, the higher it is the more overstable the disc. MD is understable mid, MD 4 overstable mid etc. Easy life ;) They also make named discs like Simons Sky God. Oh and c-line etc. are types of plastic.
