Neva - Chapter 4 Spring - Ending of the Game

SPOILERS: The emotional rollercoaster of this ending is fucking insane, first you see the bird fall down and you are like "oh shit not again", eyes start watering, then it actually starts happening and you hope that history is not gonna repeat itself. Just after Neva is saved by her puppy we do in fact learn that history has repeated itself. My eyes were already leaking a lot but at that moment i literally cried rivers. You hope up until the very last moment that somehow Neva is still alive, but, even after a brief moment of hope, when butterflies start emerging from its body and you might think she might wake up, she just doesnt. The ending keeps you on the edge up until the very last moment and I began and stopped crying at least 3 separate times. It feels like a good ending and a bad ending at the same time. But even trhoughout all that beauty, with spring blossoming and shadow defeated, I couldn't think about nothing other than the grief I was experiencing. I was like "this is bullshit you can't do this to me". After the whole adventure I had with Neva they really did me dirty. And then the end credits come in, and we're shown about how we met Neva's mother and ofc I start crying again.

I actually don’t think history repeated its self.. the way I see it was that what we saw in the intro was the ending.. thinking we kept the wolfs baby (Neva) and the mom died, when In reality the big wolf WAS NEVA. We see how Neva received her scar as shown in the intro. We just didn’t see how she died because Alba Passed out until the end.. 😢

it isn't a cycle. the whole game is basically a flashback
