It's not a loop. This game started with the end, then the whole journey of Alba with Eva was in the past, from the moment when Alba raised Neva as a pup, how they defeated the corruption and how Eva got the scar on her left eye. At the end of the game, when we are back to the present, we got to see what actually happened during that fight when Alba passed out, so the cub at the beginning is actually Bruma, not Neva. The journey of Alba and Bruma will continue, hopefully this time it's without the darkness and monster.
@Gachamations-kn2eh21 күн бұрын
SPOILER ALERT! Their is actualy a secret cutscene you can get by collecting all the flower trophies. In the cutscene, we see Alba having longer hair sitting on the ground humming and an adult Bruma with 5 cubs. Their is also a white butterfly fluttering over them, meaning that Neva is still watching over them

The name Neva has a few meanings, one being white spirit, another being snow, as in purity. Alba means shining, light, and also rock. (Thank you, Google) Whatever the corruption may symbolize, and I'm sure everyone will have their own interpretations, I'd like to think this means Alba is Neva's rock, her guiding light who helps her grow strong. Perhaps this means there's hope in years to come, so long as we're willing to fight against the horrors and not let our spirits be corrupted.

@@christinelachance Alba is also the Scottish Gaelic word for Scotland. We have a TV channel in the UK that is in Gaelic called BBC Alba. It's also the name of a Scottish political party that wants Scottish independence. Traditionally, when looking at history, it refers to the polity of Picts and Scots united in the 9th century as the Kingdom of Alba. There is also a lot of crossover in the other Celtic languages such as Manx, Irish, Welsh, Cornish etc.

Morph, if you work from home, as I suspect, then you have plenty time for a dog. The most important thing for them is that you're there with them. Getting an older dog or a quieter breed (or both) should fit your lifestyle. Huskies and Malamutes do take a lot of time and energy, but Greyhounds only need to run free for about 10 minutes a day and are otherwise happy to cuddle, and many need homes after their racing days are done. I have a Havanese, and her greatest need is snuggles, she would be perfectly happy without walks, but she needs to snuggle. There's definitely a dog in a shelter that would be lucky to live with you right now. ❤

When I was in the fourth or fifth grade our science teacher was teaching us about the food chain and made up a game to good along with it. We were told to make animals that were either herbivores or carnivores and then we would go out to the playground which had a giant yard for a soccer field and a few trees and we would act out our animal’s life cycle. I made a mixture of a der and a wolf (like Neva kind of) and I had a symbiotic relationship with some kid in my class that had a griffin that had the intelligence of a human (idk if that’s right, just what I remember). This game is what that whole day of playing felt like.

If you don't have the time to go on long walks with a dog but still want to get one and maybe do some good, I'd suggest looking into senior dogs. At least that's my plan for the future, just picking the oldest dog from the shelter and giving them a good home for however long they need. A lot of old dogs have joint issues so you wouldn't be taking them for super long walks like younger dogs. Or you could check if a local dog shelter lets you take dogs for walks. Our local shelter used to do that or you could just hangout with the animals to get them socialized. They would have an event where everyone brought their own dog and some people took the dogs from the shelter and we all went for a really long walk. I live in germany, we take many walks haha Edit: Finally finished watching and I am also a mess right now, this was so good. I absolutely loved the animation and colours.
@missdireАй бұрын
We have similar things in the US. You can volunteer to just hang out with them, take them for walks, play with them, etc. A lot of shelters also have a "sleepover" program, where you can choose a dog and take them home for a night or two to socialise and love them up. There's all sorts of great opportunities out there for people to help (and to get their dose of doggo).

@@virtualwarp To be fair, the description of the game says that, “alba, a young woman bound to a curious wolf cub following a traumatic encounter with dark forces. Together they embark on a perilous journey through a once-beautiful world as it slowly decays around them” So yea I think most of us assume it was a sort of cycle at first because we see the beginning play out exactly as the description says, presume from there, and then cry our eyes out at the end I guess one can also say that no one wants to really accept that the beginning and end are one and the same; we think, “we’re gonna raise this wolf cub to be the bestest, avenge mama wolf, and save the world!”. Then we think we’ve done it, only for the game to be like, “👀 surprise…”

@DSScully28 күн бұрын
I think it actually *IS* a loop. She's raising both wolves. Neva and Neva's offspring. The beginning of the game is more Nature.. and when you see the second cycle, more unnatural structures are included. One wolf mom passed, and we watched civilization building upon the natural land... the buildings become more integrated as the frames pass.. along with the disintegrated natural landscape. He says it around the 15 mark.. it's devoid of human definined landscapes. We're watching nature adapt.. and transform to the increased pressures of man. And we're seeing them persevere over man with pushing back by roots and seeds to regrow the landscapes. The introduction scene has very little to no man made structures. The closing scene does. You will see human construction stairs where the cranes are.. it signifies that the two worlds are merging along with the changes in the seasons. And during their walk.
