Just northeast of Las Vegas Nevada a friend of mine found a lot of gold coins in an old mining town.

In the funeral Mountains there is two main peaks. Pyramid Peak and Schwaub Peak. Both are covered in Feldspar. That’s the pink colored ore he saw while climbing up one of these peaks. Admits he began to climb up a mountain in this range. It’s one of these two peaks assuredly

If it's on a peak, maybe a rockslide covered it. I wonder if there were any earthquakes there around that time.

My grandfather said his grandfather told him there was an old saying in those days "that's all Breyfogle." Meaning 'that's BS.' He said a lot of people thought that story was made up. Who knows?

Used to live in Nye County Nevada... One thing people who are thinking about looking for gold in the state of NV, I know for sure that every square inch has been gone over no telling how many times since the mid 1800's... Lots of snakes, Quail, rabbits and scorpions... Not a flake of gold....😎

Yep, sure hard to find! Not like northern Idaho, way up in the mountains. Dry, rocky canyons with small creeks and brook trout. Snakes, scorpions and bugs that bite! Northern Nevada east and west has good gold as does southern Nevada. These areas are limited and not easy to find. I agree with you.
