I always had a huge crush on Neve Campbell. This Tampon commercial was the first time I saw her. I always loved her blond haired friend smiling in front of the camera with Neve making her laugh. This was one of my favorite commercials ever!!!!!!!

In this commercial which I haven't seen this, Neve Campbell was the only commercial for Tampax in Canada, that was three years before the hit 90's TV Series Party of Five. And also she appears in several movies such as the Scream sequels, Wild Things, 54 and many others.

I'm 5 years late responding, but yeah I was going to ask the same thing! I remember they aired it at a really odd time, like Saturdays at 6. Am I remembering that right?? I don't remember much about the show. Just that Neve was my favorite. Party of 5 premiered a year or so after that and honestly i only liked the first 2, maybe 3 seasons. I just thought most of the characters were terrible and made very bad decisions. I never stopped liking Neve, though!

Neve Campbell herself commented on this commercial in an interview: "Tampon ads are the worst, aren't they? They're so unrealistic--like women are going to do all this athletic stuff wearing skintight white pants! It's ridiculous, ha, ha. My commercial was a gang of silly teenage girls running around the school on photo day--you know, where everyone gets their photo taken for the yearbook. They are in this line-up wanting to have their pictures taken and I look in my purse to pull out a hairbrush and my tampons are in there. I look very proud of them." Well, this is more realistic than most of these commercials. There's none of that signature blue liquid in here. No one's pirouetting on a beach in slow-motion... and it's interesting seeing her young and before she was famous.
