I always wonder what their influences are. To me, SAI sounds 70s/80s inspired by people like A-ha and Elton John. While Trench and Clancy are modern with an 80s undertone mainly with the synths used, even punk at some points. Overall though, the Pilots don’t sound like many other bands.
