I respectfully disagree, Johnny (the villain in the first film) like Ryan, Johnny was known as the king of the school but Johnnys crew was also a lot tougher than Ryan’s and also in The opening fight in the Karate Kid, Johnny wiped out Daniel in minutes and he would have done it quicker if he wasn’t toying with him whereas it took a while for Ryan to beat Jake and in karate kid parts 2 and 3, Daniel was terrified of Chozen and Mike Barns both of them almost won

I will always root for Jake, always be in his corner, as my support for that tenacious & indomitable underdog is everlasting.
