Another thing to know is that most repair parts for mobile homes don't come from Lowes or Home Depot. You have to go to a store that specializes in mobile home parts. Sinks bathtubs and toilets are not the same.

They are not made of metal anymore jack lol. I live in one that is over 20 years old and after 20 years they will not insure for replacement cost . Most mobile homes that are built now are a lot better built and some with 2x6 walls. But if you are buying any home these days and can afford it I would recommend to self insure yourself especially down south here.

Thank you! There's a lot of Mobile Parks where I live. I was looking for one in a different county, but it appears they're all overpriced right now. I'm not interested in an older model. A lot of the Mobile parks that I've contacted do not allow you to bring your own; they only want you to finance what they already have, and what's available is old!

I'm here because I am looking at mobile homes as a possible retirement home, 2 that I like the location of are 1980's models & I'm not feeling to good about buying such old models even though they are priced to move.

Yeah I wish I would have known ALOT OF THINGS before I purchased my first mobile home ever! And now I'm stuck. I paid cash for the home and land in 2018 so we got it cheap. But we've had a lot of issues. It's a 1996 Fleetwood. Hindsight is 20/20.

Fix and flip it, or rent it out, or sell it to a mobile home park. Mobile home investing can be a lucrative market.
