For me a more appropriate analogy would be that Tyler, being afflicted with poor memory, has the entertaining habit of forgetting the fact that the fence he is looking at is an electric variety and proceeds to urinate on said fence. Later on, as he continues his walk along the fence line he once again forgets about the “tingly feature” of his walk’s companion and gives in to nature’s inevitable urge.
