The dial in a GM product is for the adjustment of the height adjustment of the lift gate. Works great for shorter people not many people look out for the short folks.

The lift gate knob is to adjust how high the lift gate goes up. It is adjustable so it doesn’t hit the roof of your garage or garage door tracks. Also allows the height to be optimized to the height of the car operator.

Cadillac & Terrain, almost seems someone has pulled the coil wire, they both don't fire. Thanks for the videos Mike!

When I go to auto auctions the first thing I usually do is check to see if someone has pulled either the starter of fuel pump relay.
@WildDigger7 ай бұрын
I wonder if people are pulling the fuel pump fuse. 🤔 We catch them doing that at the auction all the time.

I think the Buick was a repaired rental that GM would have rejected for return It was missing the cover over the radiator that would have had your info label on it with the engine size on it

I hear some of the newer GM vehicles have fuel pump problems. They will crank but not start.

I would guess that check engine light on that Buick has something to do with the acorns and poop under the hood. The critters could have chewed some wires, maybe.

I bet Mikey if you would have looked a little bit further it wouldn't have surprised me if both of those SUVs have the Fuel ⛽ pump relays or fuses pulled because someone wants them really cheap.

I got a sister has a suv 2018 or 2019 GMC Acadia has problems was a sensor other one electrical & some part on the motor was twice lucky didn't broke down in Mexico she got back to Laredo Texas the suv fix by itself later broke down as soon she arrived at home it's better to do homework research buying a car I got that advice at my local shop technician guy.

Ive heard some of these newer cars wont start if anything is open. . That buick was sweet . Hell they were all nice . Whats up with a 3 cylinder engine . What are they inline.

I cannot believe these late model low miledge SUVs are sitting in a junkyard! wow! Makes you want to never look for a newer car....I'll stick with 1990s car and truck! haha
@furmanmackey54797 ай бұрын
I consider such cars as underpowered, over stressed, limited use vehicles that manufacturers desperately hope Joe and Jane Average will mistake for the SUV and/or station wagons they really need. Crossovers, regardless of manufacturer are basically junk displayed on a computer screen before they ever make it to an assembly line.
@johntron79867 ай бұрын
While I do agree with the overstressed engines. Some do offer the creature comforts that the middle age people need, I would go as far as to say most 20-30years olds are buying vehciles very cheap to around 35k, (except maybe a small percentage) and anyone older than that more money on cars. They want to show off the new stuff to their friends and family! Just my take

@@johntron7986 I think you may be closer to the truth of the matter than you may think. The Lovely Bride and I will both cross the Big 7-0 mark this year and a little comfort would be a nice thing....However, I'm a tic over 6ft 4in tall and weigh about 270lbs and I've yet to find a crossover of any make or model that "fit me". TLB is almost exactly a foot shorter than me and has complained about the same thing. IF somebody still made a midsize station wagon along the lines of the old Ford Taurus with a solid V-6 we MIGHT be persuaded trade in one our pickups that DO fit us. We are not asking for an Old School Cadilac or Lincoln land yacht just something we won't feel shoehorned into while needing an industrial crane or hoist to get out of.

Hi Mike, That's not the speed at which the rear hatch opens. When it opens, you can set the height to OFF, 3/4, and Max. This is especially nice when you open it inside a garage. My last car was an ENCORE, and it did have a turbo. I'll take my BUICK Enclave AVENIR over a Cadillac any day.

@geraldcoe11237 ай бұрын
The 3/4 on the rear tailgate is the height, not the speed. Max it opens to the max height. Off would be the normal height and 3/4 is well, 3/4s of the max height.
