Boy does this video make sense for me. I have been working with your “best drill ever” where a club is placed under the rear foot and behind the left leg, which I believe has helped turn in the manner you described. I have before been trying to turn by pushing the right hip forward and as a result experienced shanks and never been able to maintain posture and swing through the ball. I am sure I am now on the path to improve. Many thanks my friend!!!

This is a great video!! I have been struggling with hitting the ball at the heel of the club. I have compensated this issue by placing the ball at the toe of the club. This allowed me to hit the center of the club face. I always thought it was my swing path. But I did not realize the issue was caused my hip rotation. Thank you for this.

Another good use of the swing plate. May be a dedicated video about all the swing plate use for x or y problem ?

Tomorrow’s video is all about training aids which the swing plate is heavily featured. It’s like you knew what was being uploaded Sebastien haha

This is a really great way to think about the down swing and lends to the follow through. I just did a few practice swings and felt a massive difference in the way my hips turned. I look forward to my next range day to test this out. I can see this fixing my slicing problem. Moving the hips in this way lends to a proper follow through and would also align the club in my down swing. I hope your channel grows and develops.

Thanks bud, at last the reason I’m shanking it’s been driving me to the point I was thinking of quitting the game, Lost club championship final because of this shot five down after six because I was scared to swing an iron tried to stiff arm them after splitting the fairway with my Driver. I have been following your vids for a while now and find them very easy to understand Thank you Regards Robert Ps got a set of Taylormade Sim Max 2 O/S and going to get them flattened by 3 deg I’m 5’4” WTF 30” any advice.

I think this is why I've been hitting the ball off the hosel a bunch lately, can't wait to bring this to the range and try it.

Hi Jonathan, great video. Are you able to explain or present another video on how to get this left hip action when trying to keep your back to the target a little longer on the downswing?

Great and novel drill that I’ll have to try! More practical than the chair on your backside because you can take full swings.

This is the exact thing I do when I increase rotation, then hit worse and turn off rotation to try and hit straight. I'll definitely give this drill a try because I can look pretty good at P6 but terrible contact.

Whenever I make this movement I feel like my weight is staying on my trailside. It feels like the reason I early extend is to satisfy my need to transfer weight forward. As soon as I transfer weight to the front side I cant turn and keep my trail foot down. Any suggestions?

I was going to massively dispute your claim that 90% of golfers make this mistake, then I got to wondering if my definition of golfer is too broad. I play mostly at munis in the US and I see more golfers whose hips barely rotate at all than ones who are trying and throwing their trail hip forward and out of line. So I won't challenge your 90% claim and assume that you are talking about people who are taking lessons and actually trying to improve, not the hackers who watch one slo-mo of Woods swinging his driver then sally forth to conquer the course.
