I've seen a LOT of werewolf movies... I'm somewhat of a werewolf afficianado... In my opinion, still, to this day, hands down the best transformation is in the original "Howling" movie... the atmosphere, lighting & an on screen effect... cgi can't top it.

1. This was a tv movie it cost a lot of money to make a full transformation scene. 2. If you actually watched the movie he pierced her with his claw 3. The Werewolf didn't slaughter anyone because his maine focus was making Loren his mate by transforming her. (Werewolf or not men don't really think of much when they are looking to get laid) 4. He was holding people hostage to trap Loren (again watch the entire movie instead of baseing it on one clip)
