Well done re the drawer ! Jobs like that take forever to get round to ! Rolling clothes doesn’t work for me either Emma ! Still chilly up north ..... my washing is in and out like a yo yo at the moment. Hope little munchkin has had a good day in school re exams .... nearly Tuesday poppet then you can relax 🥳!! Puppy sitting over the weekend, a trip to the beach , puppy loved it and we all got a good blow 🥶🙈☺️! Well done with sorting your laundry!! An endless task for us all . Happy days aye 😁. My maternal grandmother was a cook for several different families of varying ethnicity in the late thirties and early forties. So our family is a bit more adventurous in what we eat than other Nebraskans. However, I must say I've never had pate. So it was quite fun watching you! That set of grandparents also gave my mom her mini chopper, she never wants it to break!

I forgot to mention that the goats are my dad's pets. I tease him that since his parents moved into town when he was five, he didn't get to complete his farm boy childhood.

How did she come to cook for people of different backgrounds? Patē wasn't as good as normal unfortunately!

I'm not actually sure. My grandmother was raised in Northern California. Her family was very poor. I'm guessing she just took what job she could find. One of the things I remember about her was that she was always exchanging recipes with friends she met when they wintered in Texas or with the wives of my grandpa's army buddies.

Hiiii🎉❤🎉 We have been to Dinosaur land in UT and CO, this weekend. Look up the Vernal, UT Dinosaur Quarry with so many Dinosaur bones/fossils in the mountains and a lot of sea creature fossils with the kiddos ❤🎉 it was a total of 7 hrs one way... thankfully we did chop it up into 3 hrs breaks and stayed the night.❤

@gettingtidy2495 yessss...plz look it up Vernal, UT Dinosaur Quarry and Dinosaur Museum 🦕 🦖🦕🦖 it is like a graveyard of mismatched fossils on the whole side of the Mountainside. They did find a few while pieces of a Dinosaur looks like T Rex it's a different name? Cant remember?!

We’re decorating in the conservatory, my granddaughter managed to find the Crayola ‘washable’ felt pens and while I was making her more juice and quick visit to the loo she drew a couple of wonderful Duggee look a likes😂 on the one wall, they don’t wash off paint that’s for sure. xx

Yes here in the US they have voting in schools, community centers etc. Many of our poll workers are volunteers. Interesting that your election this year is on our Independence Day. 😉
