Just the thought that Alex cheated on Eliza to try to drown out his feelings for John hits me hard. And thinking about how 'never enough' in this case means that the attention he got Washington and the counrty and everything he did and made possible just didn't help him drown his feelings. Even an affair was not enough. Then (seeing as he provokes Burr and smiles as he gets shot and dies) makes me think he wanted to die but also didn't want to kill himself so he needed a cover. And he knew Burr isn't that hard to provoke and/or bring him to rage so he saw the perfect opportunity. This is just making me tear up and sob violently. It hit me hard in the feels. Fuck.

This is actually true Historically: After John died, Hamilton actually went 2 days without talking to anybody else, not even with his wife, friends and family after John's death. According to journals written by Hamilton's friends and family, after John's death, Hamilton sort of changed alot, they described him as a shadow of his former self. He had a harder time making new friends and relationships, and alot of historians think that the reason why Hamilton buried himself under alot of work because it coped as a some kind of coping mechanism to deal with his depression. And there is a popular theory believed by historians, that the reasons why Hamilton cheated on Eliza was to try and drown his feelings for John.

This song is PERFECT for Hamilton's life. Nothing was ever enough for him. Maybe he could've done better holding his legacy if he had realized that he didn't have to keep climbing for a goal he'd already achieved. He would dwell on the past and try to perfect his future, spending more time on gaining power for himself than on the happiness of the people around him. Eliza tried to persuade him to just focus on the present, "look around, look around at how lucky we are to be alive right now." He stopped at nothing, but sometimes it might've been better if he *had* stopped. He didn't have enough with Eliza, so in came poor Mariah. He never had enough money, so he made plans to have the government assume state debts. Now, place your bets as to who that benefits. The very seat of government where Hamilton sits. *Clears throat.* Sorry, I got off topic. Oh yeah, I also love this because of the Lams. Awesome job, person who made this.

He waited and waited for his turn but Alexander kept taking(i also don’t think Alexander is a bad guy) Burr couldn’t wait anymore so he went for duel,that was one of his most regretted mistakes that he did.

Damn it must've been hard not to end things himself. Even as a child, he said it himself he just couldn't seem to die. Everything he did never fully took away all of his feelings towards Laurens, not the opportunities he's recieved to work along side the force that inevitably got the nation really moving, not the Schuyler family, not his own children, not his affairs or anything (though of course were not sure because we werent there) like legit provoking Burr must've been his last moment of actual genius. He was going to die anyway, and once he does he'll finally be reunited with all the people that had passed before him, but of course he'd be leaving a lot behind. Just thinking about it sounds so painful.

Okey we can all agree that this AMV is perfect it really shows all the struggles that Alexander had to live for John's death and it gets better when you actually represent it with szin's animatics I personally think she's like a goddess of animation in KZbin, she's really good, all of her animations, even the first ones like helpless and satisfied looks so fluent in every aspect, so I guess I'm not the first or last person who's going to say this but we all must thank szin for all the emotions she gave to us, in my case I'm still sobbing for her "Laurens Interlude", but at the same time I'm completely attached with "The guy that I'd kinda be into" for like months So szin the last thing I wanna say is thanks for everything (Sorry if I wrote something wrong English is not my native language)
