No doubt anyone can learn so many things from Jathaka stories but over time these Jathaka stories too have been exaggerated by various ones so that some events and incidents of Jathaka stories can't be applied to the modern world. However as I mentioned above our younger generation, who are busy with the modern technology, can learn so many things from Jathaka stories for their lifes.

He knows what will happen after seven days. So he left there. Even if according to his bad karma he becomes misfortune for everyone wherever he goes. He made a good decision. since he uphold precepts in time of buddha kassapa. he came in contact with Crystal Stone, marvelous stone, Silver and Gold, he abandoned them all. And finally he came in contact with Bodhisattva who is more invaluable, more precious gem in all.

I hope someone can share with me. How is it that wintaka is said to have upheld his precepts. But eventually when he reached land he had intentions to eat the goat. Which would have brokwn rhe first precept.

I think 🤔at the time of Buddha Kassapa, he upheld the 5 precepts but maybe not after that.

Namo budhaya, I'm Ong Boo Siong from Malaysia. I'm interested to make the animation (cartoon) from Watsanfran to be teaching materials for Dharma classes in Malaysia, and in the same time help to promote Watsanfran's KZbin channel. FYI, in Malaysia, we are struggling to have Theravadian's teaching materials especially for kids Dharma classes (my own opinion and experienced). But after Subscribed Watsanfran and watch so many Dharma stories with nice animation, I see the HOPE that can help our kids here in learning Dharma with interesting stories.
