The dude that was running armored but had the mountain skin was actually glitched, if you switch in the loadout screen quick enough your character will get messed up, I've had infantry skins on airborne, mountain on armored, and expedition on infantry, it's a fun glitch if you like certain uniforms,

The reason you were missing is because all of the variants are glitched. The sight view and barrel are missaligned. Try it out with the base variant. Even if you use a reflex, you will see a difference
