No! Peter Warrick was not the *WORST* wide receiver in the Cincinnati Bengals franchise history. Yeah, Peter never became the generational talent at the position when we drafted him 4th overall in 2000, but Warrick did have an 80-catch, 800-yard+ receiving season once. He also scored 8 TDs that year while getting another 430 all-purpose yards to go along with receiving yards that year. Now, what about ANY of that comes across as *WORST* *RECEIVER* ever? Not even close. Instead, that title belongs to John Ross. Ross came into the league in 2017 with otherworldly mythical hype because of his then-fastest 40-yard combine record, but he was flat-out ineffective his rookie year. Ross only played in 3 games his first year with the team, meaning he missed 13 games. Only 3 of those missed games were due to legit injuries and the remaining 10 missed games were healthy scratches. Yikes! And when Ross did see the field, he mostly saw it as the 3rd wideout option because couldn’t beat out an aging veteran like Brandon LaFell for the 2nd spot behind A.J. Green. He was frequently battling soft tissue injuries like pulled hamstrings and strain calves throughout his career and he also had an insane amount of drops, too. Do better, TPS. 12/26/24 5:20 p.m. | EST

David Terrell at least made it onto the freaking field. Kevon White the 2015 pick literally spent 3 years on injured reserve before being cut.
@NotMeNaNaNaАй бұрын
Not to mention he at least caught a TD pass where as White is most remembered for catching a Hail Mary against New England at the 1 and getting tackled. The 1st of 3 such “fail” Mary’s in recent memory as a Bears fan joined by the one against the Browns last year that was bobbled and kicked by Mooney before getting picked and the 1yd short “tribute” to White against the Colts.

He mispronounces his name as well...David Ter-Rell.....David was tossed into the crazy QB carousel in Chicago those years as well.

I had to rewind to the beginning of the video to see if he said anything about injuries(he didn't). Since injuries were not a consideration and he was the 7th overall pick, the obvious choice is Kevin White, and it's not even close. Kevin White was the choice for the Saints. Why?

Detroit Lions should be Charles Rogers, #2 overall pick in 2003. He had about a third the number of Mike Williams' catches.

Curtis Enis, Bears. Although one can argue selecting Cedric Benson over Aaron Rodgers was a bigger mistake. I could just imagine Jerry Angelo in the draft room thinking “this Rex guy hasn’t been healthy for 2yrs, let’s select an RB at #4 and wait til the 4th round to get QB insurance if Rex doesn’t pan out. What’s the worst that can happen?” 🤦♂️ As much as I hate Rodgers the fact that Orton led this team to a division title in ‘05 is proof that he would’ve thrived with this defense behind him and we wouldn’t have had to endure a 5-17 record and losing the biggest game ever to GB in the 2010 NFC Championship game 😢

Nate Jackson was a WR converted to a TE. Denver’s worse WR was Marcus Nash who was a first round pick out of Tennessee who did nothing for the team. In two seasons he played a total of ten games as a first round pick. Nate Jackson was a free agent who joined the 49ers and was traded to Denver. The team saw enough in him to convert him into a TE.

As an Eagles fan, my first thought was Nelson Agholor (I know he's decent now, but he couldn't catch when he was with the Eagles), but that's recency bias. Mitchell was worse. Only had one play that he built his entire reputation on. 4th and 26. I will never forget Mitchell trash talking before the Super Bowl and saying nobody ever heard of the DBs on the Patriots.

Worse than Stephen Hill-a second round draft choice for the Jets-was Johnny "Lam" Jones, chosen very high in the first round in the 1980 draft. An Olympic sprinter, he could never hold onto a starting job. Stephen Hill was an afterthought compared to Lam Jones.
