There was also the scene when the mom was putting her daughter and son on the horse. They talk for a second there. Other than that, in the LoTR, Eowin talks to a woman she gives a blanket to. Then in the Hobbit movies, there's an instance where the woman elf, legolas's true love whose name I can't remember, talks to Bard's daughter, and during the attack, the women talk to each other deciding to go fight with their men. That's about it.

There are more scenes with two females interacting. In one scene, a mother puts her daughter on a horse, in another, Eowyn is being cheered by a woman and at the beginning of the first, Arwen is riding a mare. But that is the entire extend of females interacting, including the extended editions.

There was a time when I was homeless and living in the shelter system. In one particular shelter we had free coffee every day and there was also a fridge which we could use and a microwave. There was this one older dude who would (whenever someone was heating up some food) wait until the timer was at about a minute and then open the microwave take out their food and heat up his coffee with the remaining minute; and then just walk away, while your food is sitting on the table still cold. I remember catching him do it one time and I lost my shit. It didn't matter that he was over 65 years old. That ignorant shit wouldn't fly with me. I actually took out his coffee and threw the cup across the room. He did try to get angry until a couple of the other guys spoke up saying "Next time, wait for the microwave to be free. You deserved that shit buddy."

As someone who worked in a supermarket, I believe I have an explanation for this phenomena. You see people in general do not respect the shopping cart. They like to ram them into walls; and into each other at ridiculous speeds for their amusement. Therefore the frames get warped and dented and the wheels become uneven. Sometimes one of the wheels won't even touch the floors making your cart lean to one side. And finally, some people have seen one to many Jackass episodes and want to try some stupid-ness with shopping carts. lol.
