Well done for posting a blank! It’s so important to show this part of fishing! Just like any social media, posting is selective. It gives beginners like me a false expectation. I wonder what the standard catch to blank ratio is?

@@sakazuki100 I’ve had a disappointing January to be honest. I’ve blanked many a time. Compared to others who have done well. That’s how fishing is. I don’t catch all the time so like you say it’s important to show this is how fishing is and not to get downhearted. Stay positives that next fish is waiting somwhere. Thanks for watching

Sweet water sometimes the bright yellow ones and saltwater white But I rarely use these colours, i prefer natural colours Bright Colours only when the water is really murky As always thanks for my weekly Dose of Celtic sea fishing Tight lines

I agree with you mate.. white lure in water like that is always a go too for me. Although... In water like that i have had good results on darker colours too like the sandy andy in robo cod.. Also fishing in the winter is hard so as normal try and try again... #casttillyoucatch

No worries about a blank! I'd rather watch a good angler trying a method and exploring a mark than fish just being reeled in. Anything chartreuse as a reaction bait if the light is right.
