The only other thing I’d call out is to make sure all the hardware on the clothes is the same colour. That colour should align with the colour you like to wear in your jewellery. So for me my zippers, clips, belt hardware is all silver. It just makes everything look so much more polished.

Rebekah Evans yeah their clothes are cheap at the expense of the environment, the quality of the item and the women making them in unsafe conditions. Go thrifting dude, or go on poshmark, you can find exactly what you’re looking for cheap and it saves more clothes from landfills. If you want to know more I would recommend The Real Cost documentary on Netflix. It really opened a lot of people’s eyes.

Honestly I struggle with this too! I always go for “skinny” cut work pants. My faves are the Sloan from Banana Republic or even Gap has great ones. And then I look for cute tops/blouses either from Bloomingdales, Nordstrom, & Other Stories, Zara, Madewell, etc. And then either flats, heels or sandels is my go to look.

I went from a size 12 to a 0/2, 24’ waist and this basics videos are helping me start over. Even my shoe size changed and other than a few shirts I was able to size down with the help of my sewing machine, I’ve been retuning my style completely. For winter I was able to getaway with only 3 pairs of jeans and basic t-shirts under sweaters and my coat, but it’s summer now. Thank you!

It’s hard for me too, but I go to the thrift stores🥰. Omg I love them. At first I thought I’m never going to find anything there.... but I shopped at different stores and I found my thrift store. I’ve found Dolce and Gabbana, Stewart Weizman (new ,unworn) , adidas, lululemon. Some goodwill thrift stores even have new clothes from target with tags on, goodwill buys it from target and resells it, cheaper.

Becca I had this for so long, I have big legs and not waist, I find unless you are very slim and tall. Aline works really well or something a lot looser at the bottom. If you have issues with your waist being too small for denim skirts them definitely go for a tighter fitting stretchier denim.
