Never Long Enough in Paris | Sony A1

My girlfriend and I briefly visited Paris in February; you just never seem to have enough time there. I didn't get as many good photos/videos that I had hoped for to make a longer video...but I didn't want these clips go to waste. Therefore, here is a short film from wandering the Parisian streets during some moody weather. The blue hour/night scenes are my favorite, as always.
Shot on Sony A1 with Sony Zeiss 35mm and 55mm lenses.
Edited and color graded with DaVinci Resolve.

Appreciate that! I only had a few days and didn't really get as much as I wanted, but happy with these select clips! I'll have to return in Spring or Fall, many more vibes to be captured that I missed

The halation kind of falls apart without enough dynamic range to isolation the brightest light sources.

Thanks man. This was one of those cases where I almost didn’t want to share it on here, but I didn’t just want it to live on IG on someone’s 4-inch phone screen. It was just a little experiment that I actually ended up liking and ultimately figured…why not? Who cares? It’s not that serious lol. I did think about posting as a 9x16 horizontal short, but I would need to trim 5 seconds, which I also didn’t want to do 😂 I’m too stubborn for these platforms man.

I would say f/4 at night. To be honest I don’t have any ND filters yet, and the magnetic ones that I want are back ordered, so I’ve just been doing whatever it takes to keep the image exposed correctly. I’m excited to be able to play with more shallow depth of fields soon lol
