The words of this blessed hymn say, “And soon we shall with Jesus reign, And never, never part again.” The implications of this thought hold a truth of Christ’s Spirit in Heaven I’ve treasured in my heart but never thought it possible to fully comprehend the how or why of this truth. My condolences, dear sister in Christ. Thessalonians always comfort me, of course even more 1Thessalonians 4:13-18 KJV. Fountainview Academy has actually put those words of the Bible into a song years ago, if you are interested. The modern appendix to Amazing Grace actually put forever into perspective for me, so it is a verse, that I love, even though it is not a John Newton original.
