The intention was you'd find the Yellow Switch with a note about it making Yoshi turn aggressive, press the switch, go to the roof, and then all the creepy Yoshi stuff would happen. Of course due to odd directions and the room being a black void Linx accidentally sequence broke hard leaving the game's story a mess instead. yes I know I'm replying to a 2 year old comment.
