@@Kimarnic what do you mean kids had PS3's? every gen z I know grew up on the Wii and the few that had a different console never had the PS3, there's a few people I know that grew up with an Xbox 360 or the PS4 but all of those people also had a Wii, the Wii was just an incredibly popular family console and unless you were a 10 year old that was allowed to play CoD you probably played the Wii, I know that's not a universal experience but from what I've seen it was a common one, which makes sense seeing as between the Wii, PS3, and Xbox 360 which were all released around the same time, the Wii was the console that sold best with around 15 Million more consoles sold than either one. plus the Wii catered more towards kids and families along side the Mario games being well loved amongst people of all ages, especially the Mario Kart games which are often kids first kart racer games and due to the Mario name they're also popular amongst adult fans, plus the game play, style, and controls are simple enough while having enough challenge to be enjoyable by all, all this to say, most kids born in the 2000's grew up on the Wii and Mario Kart for the Wii

I like how the creepy Peach anti-piracy screen is ALMOST believable. Like, the game glitching out, loading an unused character. Not having files for it, so it loads Peach's files in place, but the model doesn't really match, so it's all borked up. Followed by the game freaking out and crashing. I mean, yeah, it's fake. But it's so much more enjoyable as a thing when it's somewhat believable.

Another way to have the Mii head disappear in Moonview Highway (Wii) is by playing on Dolphin and loading a save state. The Mii head image is generated when the course is first loaded, but loading a save state will break this. I'm not sure if they ever patched this, but at least it was the case on older versions of Dolphin. This is true for many of the courses in the game that generate images using Miis

5:08 and 5:34 My guy that’s a portrait of Boolossus the Third Area Boss (which if you don’t know is a cluster a boos merged into a bigger boo) fun fact that is the exact same picture from the Luigi Mansion is the picture is used in the for Gold Frame of Boolossus which is the best portrait you could had got from beating the boss fight. Same as the King Boo (bowser) and Chauncey (baby) picture which is both the Gold Frame of their respective boss portrait both also Area Bosses. The only outlier is Mademe Clair which is just regular boss from game also using the picture of the Gold Frame portrait. Though I wished they had used a picture for Bogmire the Second Area Boss instead that way we would have all the Area Bosses from the game but cool Easter egg nonetheless.

That reminds me of the one time my cousin got out of bounds on Toad's Turnpike in Mario Kart 64. Nothing special to it, she crashed into one of the moving cars and somehow got over the wall. There was not much to see. Just the background that looked a bit like sunset. The floor was invisible but was coded in a way that it was considered water. So she fell into that invisible water, working like every pond works in the game. A few seconds later she was pulled out by Lakitu and put back onto track. And that's it. The game worked like normal after that.
