Adbutham Swamji. Tears were rolling down my face as i listened to this story. Every day, I face a test of faith. I fail more often than i can count. But this story has taught me about "honi" . Having unconditional faith in Krishna and His grace is the only way to overcome or at least mitigate the situation . Swamji please bless me so that i will develop the Siddhi and Buddhi to cross the gap between "honi" and Krishna 's unparalleled grace. My prayer is that you will continue to teach us the true meaning of faith and devotion. Hare Krishna ❤

Keep your faith high in God and never use your intellect against God. You can’t challenge God with your egoistic emotions. Surrender to God from your heart by detaching yourself from worldly attachments. You will see How God is always protecting you. Really loved the story of Janmajai, how attachment can cause such a misery in his life and when he used his intellect how again he faced misery. Hence never doubt the supreme power and surrender to Him from your pure heart!

Thank you so much, Swami Mukundananda Ji, for sharing your profound insights on Chapter 10 of the Bhagavad Gita! Your ability to weave stories from our scriptures into your teachings makes these sacred lessons so relatable and accessible. I wholeheartedly agree that having unwavering faith in God is essential in our spiritual journey. As you beautifully articulated, instead of questioning the divine actions, we should embrace them with trust and love, allowing ourselves to deepen our devotion. It’s a comforting reminder that through recognizing Krishna's vibhutis, we not only appreciate his glories but also cultivate a sense of surrender and gratitude in our hearts. Your teachings resonate deeply and inspire me to align myself with a higher understanding of love and devotion. Thank you for being a guiding light in my life! My humble pranam at your lotus feet. I'm very blessed to hear these beautiful stories, which not only teach us but also elevate us spiritually. I understood the essence of leelas and never tried to use my intellect in God's pastimes. Janmajeya's story is to make us aware that never use intellect in the leelas of God so that we can benefit from Ramayan, Mahabharat and other God's pastimes. Thank you swamiji for guiding us in the path of spirituality.

Better believe in God and not be proud of our logic, analysis, Math, Intelligence etc, as God is beyond these material sciences. Akhand Pranaam at your feetr Swamijee

Mind blowing video. Stunned after listening to it. Many thanks to swami ji for sharing so much of valuable knowledge. The story is new to me but really eye opening. Clearly tells us why we should not use our limited intellect to analyze god or his plans. We are not at that level where we can easily understand why things happen the way they happen. Even the devatas or lord brahma and shiva cannot fully predict what lord vishnu is going to do next or why . This is not to say one god is better than the other but to convey the message that let us not get so worked up analyzing the karma or gods plans. It will all be taken care like how god has been doing for many many yugas. Let us develop utmost faith in god and do our duties to our best

Swami-ji, thank you for sharing this important knowledge in such a wonderfully vivid and engaging way. I love all your videos and have a copy of your Bhagavad-Gita, too, which I refer to often... the commentary is so insightful 🙏🧡 Faith is important. You mention the Ramayana, and I'd really appreciate your guidance on one part of that epic, which I would like to accept with faith. After returning to Ayodhya, Lord Rama casts out Sita. Several interpretations of this can be found in discussion of this in modern times: that there was gossip about her and that Lord Rama wished to set an example that would benefit society even at a cost to himself, or that there was a law at that time that a woman should be divorced if she spent time away from home and that if Lord Rama hadn't cast Sita out he would've been undermining the law for all (and the law was necessary to benefit society). There was also said to be a curse on Shri Vishnu that he would be separated from Ma Lakshmi in his incarnation as Lord Rama, so some say that was the reason - he did it because he knew he had to do it, and that it was necessary as a lesson for all. I've tried reading the Ramayana translations I can find to understand which of these reasons it might be, and the lesson from his actions, but the only Ramayana versions I've found don't seem to give a reason (it's also possible that I just didn't recognise a reason that was given in what was written). I've been looking for sound information about this for years but have found none so far. Some modern interpretations in TV shows seem to apply a certain reasoning to Lord Rama's actions, but I dont want to accept one of these if there's no trace of it in the original text and end up with an inaccurate understanding. Whatever the reason, or if there is no reason, I must accept it, but I would like to know if the reason is ever given in the Ramayana text or related scripture, or if it just isn't. Your knowledge of all the ancient texts and your ability to explain their messages simply and in an engaging and accessible way is really wonderful and has helped me a great deal, so it would be immensely helpful if you would speak about this in one of your videos-it would be of great help to me, and there must be others who wonder about this as well 🙏🩷

Very nice description by Swamiji. Faith is the foundation of devotion, and when we have unwavering faith in God , we love Him from our heart because He is only our very own. Doubting His leelas and actions creates unnecessary turbulence. Therefore, we must keep strong faith in Him, His scriptures, and our Guru to lead a life of peace, joy, and spiritual growth.

Sŵamiji teaches us that not to reveal any story or greatness to the persons who has no interest or devotion towards God. And whenever we hear the stories of Lord, we should hear it with full interest and having no doubts and it should be listen carefully wth complete devotion. Swamiji warns us not to use our intellect while listening the divine stories. Janamejey's story reveals for his sceptical nature of hearing Mahabharat. Vedavyas told him that 'Honi' cannot be changed. By hook or crook it must be happened. Lastly the same was happened to Janamejey and passed away with his sceptical nature. Pranams to Swam8ji.

It's true Swamiji it's mere waste of time to relate Lord's stories to someone who has NO faith on God. They wouldn't benefit and they unnecessary talk something, which hurts our devotional sentiments. I believe to have faith on God, it's all His grace. If God is not wishing to grace someone, I will just follow His will. Sati's and Janmejai's stories are so powerful. We shouldn't use our intellect in Lord's leelas and in scriptures.

Faith is a living and unshakable confidence. A belief in God so assured that a man would die a thousand deaths for its sake. - Martin Luther King Jr. Unshakeable faith is the kind of faith that, under normal circumstances, seems pointless. It challenges us to remain stable, even when we encounter the worst life has to offer. It’s the kind of faith that might even make you look crazy by the world’s standards. Unshakeable faith forces you to shut down human logic and takes you to a place, with God, that no one imagines going - or wants to experience, for that matter. If you have faith as small as a mustard seed, you can say to this mountain, “Move from here to there” and it will move. Nothing will be impossible to you.
