Its funny because it wasn't even the right play in that situation. Geomancy Xdeer is generally amazing, but its still helpless against Muk (especially assault vest muk), and Ditto can copy the stat boosts. Wobbuffet also could have trapped it and killed it with mirror coat. Using geomancy wasted a turn and also wasted the item, doing some chip damage with moonblast would have been way better and safer, then zygarde or Kartana are pretty good switch ins to muk on the next turn.

I kinda do the same (I mainly play dual screens) but I learned that sometimes it is just better to attack and wear down your checks before sweeping. Setting up while they send in something that has enough HP to survive a boosted hit while taking your sweeper in one hit is the best way to lose.

Z-Dig is usually better. Not only is it stronger but it's power comes from the item and not the weather, so even outside of sun it can be a devastating nuke to the steel types Leafeon struggles with. @@TheBvR3 Cloud Nine negates weather effects; Golduck's Water moves are unaffected by Desolate Land. Rayquaza's ability, Air Lock, also negates Desolate Land's effects, meaning that Rayquaza can smack Primal Groudon hard with Waterfall, if it's running said move.

1: the status of "Legendary" or "Mythic" alone has no meaning in competitive, as most of the mythic pokémons are under Ubers and a fair share of legendaries is as well, also factoring that some regular mons perform better than some Ubers within that same meta. 2: They're playing Ubers, which means that SUPPOSEDLY you're running a team made mostly of Ubers, and the majority of the tier is legendary Pokémons. He's not bad because he played legendaries, but because he lacks skill both in playing and teambuilding.
