Today we are working on installing our guru G-Flex uncoupling floor membrane. This is by far my favorite membrane because of its strength and that it is waterproof. I will show you all of the simple steps needed to do the install. I will also show you why i am not a huge fan of laticrete strata mat, and Schluter Ditra.
My goal with these Vlogs, Is to show you step by step process for renovating a bathroom. I want you to be able to reference my playlist and follow it the best you can.

Love your videos, do you need a membrane on a concrete floor before tiling? And if you wanted to install electric under floor heating, would that be under the membrane?, thanks

Misha, litterally just today i was thinking about the fact that when i put membrane i don't fully waterproof it cause i don't put Kerdi Band. My "master" told me that the way we did (without Kerdi Band) is the way to do it... TY товарищ!

I like stratamat over schluter. Use a grey thinset and you can see your coverage and feel 💯

Do you need the specific banding between the sheets, or would you be able to use the waterproofing material the guru sells for shower walls?

So you can pull the fleece off? How does that affect the product installed? Fact is, it doesn't. And you said you promote GURU because it's good yet you stated supporting before ever laying a foot of it and claimed KBRS was the best system ever created. They dropped you and now this is a better system. Yet it's the same kind of system you used to bash. KBRS is either the best or its not regardless of you get paid. That's the issue I have. You also have been claiming it can be flood tested the same day. That is not true. GURU's installation instructions state the same exact thing as Schluter. They say wait 24 hours for the thinset to dry before flood testing. Come in, you can do better than this.

I've been watching your videos for about a year and although you can see that you're a novice.....your videos were still entertaining. But in a matter of a year you have been saying this product is your favorite or this product or this and now it's guru......so I guess your favorite is whoever sends you free products. For that reason I can no longer stand watching your videos..... unsubscribed.
