Regardless of the outcome, this track is truly breathtaking and this matchup is just iconic. Two of Shonen biggest rivals who've had stints on all sides of the morality spectrum and dealt with superiority-inferiority complexes regarding their rivals, this track perfectly captures Sasuke and Vegeta going at it. The art is also awesome! I love the combination of the Amaterasu, Sharingan, and Vegeta's Ki blast (likely the Big Bang Attack).

The difference is, Sasuke already fought his best opponent and Vegeta is most likely going to fight Thor so if this idea become real episode It will be pointless and will be nothing considered as Spite towards Sasuke (Korra vs Storm was most likely because they love the idea. A total stomp yet still thematically fitting matchup that sounds really nice. Was fully expecting Dangerous Gaze to be put in there, which I am happy was there. I do also like how it was implemented in this song too, but more on that later. I also wanted to hear Vegeta's Super Saiyan theme there but honestly thought it wouldn't be included. So needless to say I was definitely surprised for the better when I heard the 2:37-2:56/3:46-4:18 bits that are it. This song isn't exactly easy to include given how it is so I'm really happy to hear how it was included. I really like how Dangerous Gaze and Vegeta's SSJ theme play around in this song: first it's only Dangerous Gaze that's heard to hint at the fact that Sasuke might have the upper hand as Vegeta wouldn't take him seriously, but later in the song Vegeta's SSJ theme appears and plays on even ground if not higher than Dangerous Gaze to show that Vegeta's not playing around anymore and he's taking the battle seriously. And finally the end of the song only has Vegeta's SSJ theme completely drowning out Dangerous Gaze that isn't heard anymore to show that Vegeta's won and Sasuke's lost. I have no idea if that was voluntary or if I'm even taking a valid interpretation of it here but even then I think it adds some great personality to the song and makes it fit the characters even more, which I really like and even is one of the main criteria I'm looking for in a theme: if it fits the characters (which is why Chorus of Carnage and Way Past Flash are still to this day some of my fav DB OSTs.) Great job, as always.

You know what's funny? Vegeta and Sasuke actually beat Goku and Naruto in their first serious fights. Vegeta broke Goku's legs, and Krillin and Gohan needed to save Goku. Sasuke knocked Naruto out in the Finally Valley. But after Namek, Vegeta spends the series obsessing over Goku and trying to catch up, while Naruto spent most of Part 2 obsessing over Sasuke and trying to catch up to him. Oh, for the actual battle, Vegeta stomps.

It's script time everyone. Startup: "Never Second Best" ques immediately. 0:00: Vegeta flys above Konoha when he senses a unique energy signature. Vegeta: "This energy is coming from down there. But not common at all. What is-?" ???: "You. Up there." Vegeta looks in the direction the voice came from and sees Sasuke and that his energy is the one he sensed. He flys down to him. Sasuke: "What are you doing here." Vegeta: "Nothing. Just flying by when I sensed you're energy and it's like nothing I've felt before. What is-" Sasuke: "Leave, before I make you leave. You're in Konoha territory." Vegeta: "You've got a lot of guts to say that to me. Listen, my power level is far beyond yours so back off before things get ugly." Sasuke: "You've chosen poorly." 0:21: Sasuke pulls out his sowrd and trys to slash him, but Vegeta smacks it away and kicks him down. Vegeta: "Ohoho, I beg to differ. DADADADADADA!" 0:29: Vegeta fires at Sasuke with his Rapid Consecutive Blast. Sasuke retreats into the trees to avoid them, realizing automatically from how Vegeta smacked away his sword that he's to powerful to take on directly. When Vegeta finishes, he chases after him. 0:44: Sasuke creates 8 shadow clones which attack Vegeta. Vegeta easily fights them off and Sasuke uses a fire style jujitsu fire ball to hit Vegeta. Vegeta: "Ha. Big Bang, ATTACK! Vegeta fires at the attack to cancel it out. Sasuke charges through the smoke while using Chidori to send try and Vegeta backwards, but Vegeta skillfully redirects him and he misses. 0:58: Vegeta bursts into the air and begins throwing ki balls at Sasuke. (This is where the imaging begins.) 1:06: Vegeta: "Galick Gun, FIRE!!!!!!" Vegeta shoots his Galick Gun at Sasuke, but Sasuke barely doges it and traps Vegeta in a genjujitsu. Vegeta doesn't realize it. As he looks around in the darkened space his body begins to melt. He thinks that this is another one of this guy's abilities, until he realizes that the man's energy is in him and is no longer outside. Vegeta: "This isn't real, it's an illusion!" Knowing this, he powers up and transforms into his first Super Sayian form, breaking the illusions and grabing Sasuke, who was about to stab him from behind with his sword. Sasuke: "How did you-?!" Vegeta pulls him up close, Vegeta: "Nice try." And shoulders him into a tree while breaking the sword. Vegeta then uses his energy rings to bind Sasuke to the tree. Vegeta: Final, SHINE! Vegeta fires directly at Sasuke. . . 1:38: But Sasuke uses amenotejikara to bend space and swap places, causing Vegeta to get hit by the final shine instead. Vegeta: "Why you sneaky little-" Vegeta doesn't finish his sentence and, instead, dashes all around in a fit to hit Sasuke, who avoids all of the attempts. 1:48: Sasuke uses lightning jujitsu to summon Kirin, a giant lightning energy dragon. Kirin charges at Vegeta. In response, Vegeta makes his energy blade and slices right through it. He then trys to stab Sasuke with it, only to hit the rib cage of the Sussano and is then punched by one if it's arms. Vegeta: "What the!?! What was that!?!?" Sasuke: "Sussano." Sasuke then summons the full body of perfect Sussano who charges Vegeta. Vegeta: "That's it, You're FINISHED!!!!!!" 2:08: Vegeta is getting tired of Sasuke's tricks and transforms into is Super Sayian blue form. He then punches the Sussano and uses spirit fission to drain it's energy. As it and Sasuke recover, Vegeta charges his Final Flash. 2:17: Vegeta: "FINAL, FLASH!!!!!!!!!!" Vegeta fires at the Sussano who barely survives it. They take the fight above the clouds. (Wild time!) 2:26: Sasuke can tell that Vegeta is too much to handle but instead of giving up, he casts Amaterasu on Vegeta. Vegeta is alight with black flames, but is far from finished. Vegeta: "NO MORE TRICKS!!!!!" 2:37: Purple energy erupts from the flames. The Amaterasu is absorbed as Vegeta floats in place. He's is now in Ultra Ego, his most powerful form, and is mad. The Sussano attempts to slash at him but Vegeta grabs the sword. Vegeta: "Hakia." With his destruction energy, he erases the Sussano from existence, but Sasuke uses amenotejikara to escape and land on the ground. 2:56: after seeing Vegeta erase the Sussano, Sasuke decides to start using the six paths. He uses the Deva path to pull gravity down, but thanks to Vegeta's training, he stays in the air, but he does feel a bit of force. He looks down and immediately attacks Sasuke when he sees him, only for it to be a shadow clone. The real Sasuke jumps at Vegeta and uses the Preta path to start draining Vegeta's ki energy. 3:07: fortunately for Vegeta, he has too much energy for Sasuke to drain all at once throws him off. 3:09: Sasuke uses yin releases to distracte Vegeta and then uses the Deva path again to create multiple planetoids and launch them at Vegeta. When Vegeta sees them, he dashes twoard the them and destroys them all one by one before landing on the ground. Vegeta: "I'm ending this." 3:46: Vegeta begins to charge his Final Explosion, knowing that Sasuke has no chance at surviving it. Does Sasuke have anymore tricks up his sleeve? Does he have a way to win? Is he safe? Well, that's for you to decide as usual. What did you think of it? Next up, these two crime fighters of the night shall duke it out. "Out of the Shadows" that is. (Leonardo vs Daredevil)

As he does he remembers something Vegeta: SHIT! I forgot I promised trunks I’d take him to the amusement park today As Vegeta flys back to capsule corp Naruto comes along to see what happend only to find what’s left of Sasukes broken Sword

@@hades5680 Both are combined forms of two beings (Goku + Vegeta and Namu + whoever is Fate at the time) with Godly power (god ki for Vegito and Namu himself being a god) who wear an accessory needed for the combination to exist in the first place (potara earrings and the helmet of fate). Not much, and I'm sure I missed some, but there are a few connections. Of course Fate completely dunks on the DB multiverse but hey, it's a neat if odd matchup
