Jared Lorenzen for people around my age would remember a 285lb QB that played for University of Kentucky and went on to play in the NFL, he was a beast. So it is possible young man, keep your head up and practice your craft. God Bless You.

I looked him up. He played 4 games in his 3 yr NFL career, had 4 comp on 8 attempts, and a 50% pass rating, and that was his career. That is not a good example for motivation. 😐

Unfortunately he won’t go anywhere in football because of his weight. You can think as warm an fuzzy as you want, but these are top tier athletes, and they make millions. Jamarcus Russell ruined that for guys with weight problems

Look more like spam Newton to me. Smh nah jus playing (kinda) he got an arm and is def talented. They should never score under thirty five points idc who they playing. I mean it was obvious in just these clips that they need to get the ball in number 8's hands. I mean cmon and they have a great offense for it. Get him the ball early and often then use him as a decoy and open up the field.

It's not that you can't play QB at 285, it's that it's fact that at 220-230 he'd be faster and more agile. He currently lacks discipline in his diet and exercise, but he could fix that if it really matters to him. Hyping someone up just because you can isn't always the right answer, he needs someone to tell him the facts if they want to truly see him succeed.

Could throw 70 yards on the money and was top 20 in 247 sports Once he got to college the coach changed him to tight end one of the best in the league. @georgebrewer you are exactly right. My son is a 10th grader 6'1 173lbs FS/SS and can play down hill in the nickel as well. Head coach told me this year that if he comes back 6'3 and around 180-190 his azz getting moved to WR 😆. He's dealing with this at the highschool level. We all are not trying to down the kid but the business is a reality in football at the next level. Prime example Antwan Randle El turned WR. So I get where your coming from.

I believe he should play quarterback but he's in high school. He should be playing multiple positions that give him the best opportunity to make it to the next level.

They got whooped in that video ? THE ONLY REASON this guy is playing …they don’t have any other options plus he’s a black kid & the black coaches will let it slide 😂!! He need to be on the line !! Didn’t make a single throw longer than 5-10 yards 🤣🤣

It’s not on the qb to stop the other team or catch the ball. He helped the team move the ball. Play calling inside the 5 was terrible. Your take is terrible also.

@ my take will be spot on when he doesn’t drop weight !!! I’d love to see a qb like this in ncaa or NFL !! BUT IT WILL NEVER HAPPENS !! Too fat and slow

Rememeber the Hefty Lefty Jared Lorenzen... he makes him look small. Just crazy how my son was the best qb in 3A in ky and the 8th in the state overall, and couldn't get any good D1 offers, but this kid, this kid.... is a football player, don't know about qb, but he's definitely a player.

Everybody be honest with him, he needs to get his weight down to play at the NFL level. He is basically running around with a 40 pound weight vest on, slowing him down, but he does have the benefit of basically training this whole time with a 40 pound weight vest on.
