I slightly disagree (but let me preface this in that I would fall into the category defending Allen West and laughing - and somewhat ashamed - that we have fallen to what the girl resembles). The current generation of college aged students definitely have real problems. I'm not even that far removed from college, and I recognize I have the privilege of growing up without many of the real problems (but I also have them now as a FTE), but college students have problems of college debt, possibilities of not getting jobs in this market, etc. They're "real" but you could also consider them "first world problems". Identifying problems that people aren't "identifying as black" is a top tier first world problem in that it's so absurd. You have those who live in Africa and are starving, you have white people who need to find out how to pay off college debt, you have chicks like this. She definitely does not have any of the first couple of problems, not even given her question, but given her demeanor about the microphone and her attempt to talk over West.

That's not true. the Military doesn't decide what we can and cannot say, the U.S. Constitution does i.e. the First Admentment. The military, the wars they fight, have nothing to do with that. Unless the miltary was engaging in a war on U.S. soil then that could be more of an argument but most wars the U.S. has engaged in (minus world wars) have been for the benefit of the U.S. in a power stage rather than fighting for our Constitution or way of life.
@coltonsmith32702 жыл бұрын
@@davidarnold7147 yes it is true, because the military is what protects the constitution. without the military, we wouldn't even have a constitution because we'd still be a british colony. or someone else would have just invaded us and we'd lose the constitution. so the constitution doesn't mean jack without the military to protect it.

It's amazing that even years after Fresh Prince, Carlton's speech about being black holds true, trying to tell a black person they aren't black because they don't do the same things you do, speak like you, dress like you, have the same experiences you do is madness. What's the most ironic thing for me is when Joe Biden spoke about "not being black if you don't vote for him" I saw soooo many woke pro black people online creaming themselves in delight and whole heartedly agreeing with his message. A white man _telling_ black people what they have to do to qualify for blackness as if he were our master. We hate racism so much yet people are quick to call you all sorts of coons, bed wenches and every disgusting derogatory word should you step out of line and have "wrong think". It's depressing.

@@idonotdrinkcocacolaanymore9742 That's literally the opposite of what they were doing with Carlton, expecially later on. At worst Carlton was sheltered and nerdy, yes Will made fun of his hobbies, but people made fun of Will, it was a comedy, everyone go roasted. But when it came to serious moments no one was demonized. As someone who was considered white washed at no point did I think he was enforcing the stereotype. Uncle Phil and Aunt Viv certainly were well spoken and successful and were held up to be examples of excellence.

What gets me is the "anti racism" people are the most racist. They call names. They scream at you to be quiet because they'll tell you how oppressed you are. It makes me rage.

Thomas Sowell talked about this in his book " Black Rednecks and White Liberals" where it stems from the belief of this White Liberals at that time believed Black people need help from White Liberals because they have no access to resources and are incapable of individual thoughts. The black people who became independent from the government or social group were deemed " traitors, sell outs, fake, Uncle Ts and Coons" . The White Liberals were the ones who defined and categorized black culture and what isn't. Actually…..theres no such thing as correct grammar, at-least not in verbal speech. Languages is fluid and belongs to everyone. Its used to communicate and indicates many things about you. However you choose to express yourself and communicate, as long as its effective is correct. I learned that from McWhorter, a linguist. This notion of correct language, grammar, the like is patently uneducated and stems from classism and the like. What they are saying is you dont talk in the cultural way blacks do which isn’t wrong. The rules of language are arbitrary and ever changing. The ruling class dictates its usage. You can fill in the blanks. I feel what you’re saying tho bcuz people have said the same thing about me, but they’re not wrong, the premise you and i operated under for so long is actually whats wrong. Theyre not saying why do you speak “properly” but instead “why don’t you use the common dialect blacks use”. I guess both sides are wrong in that they didn’t realize everyone is an individual and you didn’t realize theres no correct way of speaking. Just my 2 cents. I guess we all just need to come together.

But worst than that, I heard dozens of neomarxists in the US and Europe in public spaces/forums use THE EXACT SAME RHETORIC as you to justify why people must adhere to the use of multiple pronouns (to simply eliminate binary identification). It's because they aren't really for social justice at all, they only really care about themselves. If you look at every modern movement recently they don't accomplish much, and if anything just make life worse for the group they claim to represent as they really have no idea what they are talking about - it's just basically like a bunch of kids crying and moaning about their own issues, and because they can't critically think they just assume everyone else has an easy life except for them. It really just comes across as a generation of spoilt brats who haven't ever had to work hard for anything in their lives.

As someone mixed race, there are few things that have been said to me that have pissed me off more than being told that because my skin color doesn't match the idea they have in their head, that somehow a massive (and as I've come to find out, is actually the dominant) part of my heritage and upbringing is invalidated and goes right out the window. You don't get to just throw people into a category that is the current primary target of hatred because they don't think the way you want them to think and have a mind of their own. It's one of the only, actually valid, situations where I will stand up for the idea that people do not get to determine what you are because it's convenient to label you as such. All it is, is outright denying the truth because it doesn't suit you, and it's fucked up.

Feel you. I'm mixed Indian and black (classic carribean combo) but you would never think I'm black looking at me. I don't blame other black people for not realizing, but I have never been treated as part of that community. Ever. And the fucked up part is, that's the part of my family I most identify with. My dad (who's Indian) was always working and I naturally bonded more with my mother, who is black as black can be. Like, if you saw me stand with my aunts and uncles, you'd see the resemblance, but they're all Wesley Snipes dark and I'm...well, I look like Raj from some tech support center in New Delhi. The really fucked up part though is that after I tell people I'm black, they start attributing things about me specifically to my blackness, but I'm still not accepted. Examples: "Oh, that's why you're good at basketball!" "I was gonna say, you got drip for a 7/11" (Let's not even get into the passive Indian racism I deal with daily from black people) "Yeah you kinda tall for a brown dude" Like, really? You not gonna even accept me but the stereotypical good black traits are all of a sudden not even mine and I should be thankful for lucking into my race? FOH. And I say nigga freely. And what? I can understand where the statement comes from such as those that are self hating. So in a case where a black person claims slavery wasn't that bad, sure that's an Oreo. However in your example that's a totally different issue and a problem. Because people in the minority groups adopt sounding educated to be being white. Now that is sad, that being better and wanting more is seen as the opposite of your race. As if having an education and speaking normally is evidence of being less. Preach needs to preach more often, because that was fire. Speaking as a pasty white dude, that "are you even black" question blows my mind, and I'd just like to point out that it implies that there are such things as "black ideas" or "white ideas." That alone is racist, but implicit in that statement as well is that if you believe a certain way as a black man (in this case, it's just as true for anybody, and I've certainly been told that something is evil because it's a "white thing" ), then you aren't really black. There's a right way to be the way you were born, and if you don't fit that stereotype I've created for you, then you are not authentically who and what you are because I say so, because I dictate what you from xyz demotraphic are supposes to be. That is so unbelievably bigoted, so many people seen to think this way, and the fact that more people don't see this for the bigoted crap this is blows my mind even more. Honestly, it reminds me of when Joe Biden talked to Charlemagne the God (I think it was him) during the 2020 general campaign and said with a straight face, "if you don't know whether to vote for me or Donald Trump, then you ain't black!" Why do people always have to ridicule mental illness and mental health to say a person is out of touch? She’s probably ignorant and self centered and young minded etc etc rude disrespectful etc but that doesn’t signify a mental illness it’s so gross how anyone being unreasonable is labeled as someone with a mental illness A lot of mental illnesses are connected with trauma and abuse and it’s still so hard for so many to get the help they need Statements like that don’t help people with an actual mental illness and they take responsibility away from people who behave this way The reality is she probably needs self awareness To educate herself mature better interacting with others challenging her views etc

@@aa-cx8nc Basically as someone whos lived in pretty dangerous areas some of the scariest dudes are the ones that simply smile or laugh when their pissed. You know right away he aint wired right and he might be a killer those and the quiet ones are the ones who are really dangerous. The dudes who talk loud typically are not really a threat ie all bark no bite.

He's right, Im a black woman and there's people that are like "yall are traitors but when they see other blk women with a different race its like " Yeah get someone that treats you right" Its hypocritical.

I mean...think about it. Black women have the highest probability of domestic abuse committed on them. A significant portion of their men are in prison. Black women makeup ~60% of all bachelors degrees earned by the black populace. They also outnumber black men by around ~1.2 million. Not to mention the rise of black men leaving them and going to marry women of other ethnicities. I mean damn...yeah, they should start looking out

I've noticed the opposite. Bm like Jamie Foxx, Kanye west, 50 cent, Tristan Thompson, childish Gambino etc are all allowed to date interracially and they better not hear a peep. But Meghan thee stallion kisses a yt man, Keke Palmer dates one, azalea banks gets engaged to a yt man, and Serena Williams married Alexis and now it's "yOu cOulDnT fInD a gOoD bLaCk mAyNe???!!!$($($#"

@@trxphywaifalt u are probably why they date out. Just saying. That mindset, that u think everyone is out to attack you, and everyone is ur enemy, is what alo t of us are sick of. And for dating out they get that hate as well. I'm not going to deny BW probably go through this to a degree. But then u have the women who go through this but will then deny other BM for internally racist reasons and then wonder why they go where they are accepted. That's where the hate begins. The only fans model that killed her boyfreind? Should have seen the amount of hate he got for dating a " white" woman. It's disgusting. And social media allows BW to say these things about us. Yet when a man says something that is said differently but interpreted the same way? Yall aiming 45's at him, emptying the clip. Happens all the time. The bitterness of BW when a celebrity is dating a white woman. Literally channels dedicated to it. Some woman litterally tried to say this about Kevin Samuels when he past. Trying to insinuate that the woman he was with when he died wasn't black, like it was some how important. These insults are snuck in everywhere. It takes ignorance to not see it. I'll say this. Neither jab at ones choice in dating is healthy and it's not fixing a damn thing.

I'm black living in Sweden. When I was in washington dc just out chilling there was this university student girl who made the claim that I'm not real black because I don't sound black. I have a Swedish accent.

Bruv, women calling me homosexual slurs, as soon as I make it clear to them that I'm not interested, happened too often in middleschool and highschool. It actually kinda fucked up how I handled sex and intimacy in my relationships for many years, into my adult life. If a woman I was dating wanted sex, and I didn't, if I wasn't ready for her to leave, I gave it up. Even in, otherwise, platonic friendships. If I wanted a woman to like me and she made a move, I wouldn't say no. I got into a lot of trouble over it and got a much worse reputation than being gay. Got a lot of therapy and finally figured the shit out 15 years later. Long comment, I know. I'm triggered too though, so fuck it.
