Never Seen This Type of Knight Before

It’s called a knight battlewagon. They usually hold incineration cannons

I thought so too, but looking closer at the lights and the shape of the head they are very different from the battlewagon. It doesn't have the spikes either.

@@CeZealot If you look at images of a commander they have a different pattern of lights, I think the most notable difference being that commanders have lights on their heads while this one does not. This definitely looks very similar though. I think this is either a similar glitch to the mismatched elite armor seen in previous halo games, or perhaps an unsolved easter egg. Going to have to replay this level! I noticed a couple other instances while doing my solo legendary run of strange armor, there could be a pattern!

Yeah, Halo 4 has rare texture corruption issues. In the MCC on Spartan ops, tbe very first mission, restarting at the beginning can cause a ton of corruption.​@@LAV-III

I think this was supposed to be a commander(Incineration cannon and fancy lights around the body), but his textures are broken for some reason.

My thoughts as well, though it is weird it happens every time and only on legendary.

I remember I had the guide book for h4 back when I was 11 and 12. It had pics of all the enemies and the battle wagon was so badass

Enemies have a vendetta against dead bodies on legendary to the point of killing their allies, very helpful sometimes

This was my first thought as well since it happened in the Bungie games a number of times, but I've never seen it happen in a 343 game. It's very odd.
