Can you make a video showing how you tie into roofs?

It is admirable how you conduct yourself as a businessman. My husband also started his plumbing business out of his Toyota Corolla. His was a 93 and it was green. He didn’t even speak English then. This country is wonderful. God bless America.

Nice job, looked great. I primarily do tree work, my goal when people look at the work I do is to have them ask what I did 😆. Basically when I leave it should look pleasing to the eyes someone who doesn't know what it looked like before I start, of course the homeowner/client will know what I've done. It has come to my attention that some may feel as though I did nothing lol. It's like taking care of dirty laundry, when your done noone knows you did anything, just that everything is in order. Have a blessed day.

Hey Spencer. As a suggestion when it is close to Winter ever thought of asking your customers to string up Christmas lights for them since you are already up there? For a fee of course. I knew a painter who grew his side business this way. Renting Christmas lights for the season. You hang em up and then recollect them after New Years. Lots of people love christmas lights but hate roofs and ladders. .

Yup! Christmas lights are big money!

Follow his methods getting it off, then install zinc straps under the top row of shingles. Another michigander here 😀

Is it True that brushing the Moss off Destroys the shingles of the Roof
@SpencerClaeys2 жыл бұрын
The shingles already are damaged so a light brushing isn’t gonna do much

After adding the Zinc do you wash it off within a certain time frame or do you leave it as is so that the rain can do the rest?

Is there always a place to tie the safety rope on the roof. Is the rope secure being embedded with an attachment to the roof?
@efinveecaught7281 Жыл бұрын
No there is not always a place to tie a safety rope onto a roof. Roof fall protection requires specific, inspected mounts for it to be OSHA compliant. These mounts must be installed and screwed into a roof properly and inspected (I believe yearly?) for it to be safe, any other form of roof mounting system is not OSHA complaint but still definitely could protect you from a fall situation. So if you aren't an employer they could still be useful. Such things like a pole to go down a vent, or just tying off around a large chimney can work. Otherwise you may need to use a rope harness system that goes over the roof and ties down to something on the ground, then you have a knot in the middle that you tie onto.
