Tbh, rechargeables need a separate charger. Thisone just a mini usb can charge it everywhere without taking a big charger with u.

Okay so the biggest problem here is the fact that lithium ion batteries vent when you recharge them and there's nowhere for it to vent you have made a bomb maybe not the first time or even the 10th time you charge it but eventually it will want to expand or off gas and it has no way of doing so

From practical standpoint is no reason to do this. You can buy lithium cell based 1.5V rechargeable batteries already. Both AA and AAA packages. From DIY ASMR you probably have a point :)

Depending upon how small you can find these in wireless earbud charging boxes,throw away vape pens,mini remote toy helicopters, wireless earbuds......they are really in small everyday gadgets. Good luck on your build
