Seeking Islamic knowledge is indeed encouraged all over the world, especially for Muslims living in non-Muslim countries. In Islam, there are always regulations in the way of life for the benefit of the followers of the religion itself. In Islamic countries such as Saudi Arabia, the lives of Muslim residents are made simplified when the authorities cooperate by enforcing shariah laws. For example, in matters of nutrition, Muslims are only allowed to eat halal food. The lives of Muslim residents are made simplified when the authorities only encourage the operation of halal food businesses in the industry. However, for Muslim residents living in non-Muslim countries, they need to have the right knowledge so that they do not feel hesitant to eat. In addition, they also need to look into where the businesses that sell halal food are located. Apart from nutrition, other matters such as investment are also knowledge that needs to be sought. In Islamic countries, the authorities have made it simplified for Muslims to only invest according to shariah. However, in non-Muslim countries, Muslim residents need to study shariah knowledge so that they only choose investments that do not have the element of usury. Usually Muslims who live in non-Muslim countries are in developed countries like the USA and Japan. Hopefully they have enough resources to learn about Islam there.
