Proven by scholars of all 4 schools Oh btw Ibn Taymiyyah says if a person celebrates mawlid with the intention of loving the Prophet sallallahu alaihi wasallam he will be rewarded for it. Source: his own book iqtidah as sirat Al mustaqeem
