I was at my mom’s friend’s house a few minutes ago checking out the puppies she had just gotten from her dogs. Our neighborhood sits right up against a pretty big forest that is brimming with Barred Owls. One of those guys was actually singing his song into the night with a few others, and let me tell you, it’s really unnerving hearing them. What makes it scarier is that they were not even a few trees into the woods. Although we couldn’t see them, they could most definitely see us. I am now listening to this as I finish up my algebra homework. Good times

Your voice reminds me of Carlos aka MalibuArtist. I'm a shark loving Aussie and he does EXCELLENT work to prevent fearmongering of these beautiful creatures so that's definitely a compliment I'm giving you😁. Always love listening to horror stories as I water late at night and AI tends to ruin them so this channel's perfect👌🏻. Dark sky lit by stars (unfortunately dimmed a little by man-made lights but at least I'm close to the hills and away from the city), breeze blowing through our trees and not a sound to be heard apart from the soothing voice of horror.

That third story. Suddenly adult men who have been through the Marines are 12-year-old girls at a slumber party and the Wendigo is Betelgeuse. I don't feel like that writer actually gave much thought to what animal/monster they were using there. They could have picked a number of any others. And those others would have worked fine.

I often wonder how annoyed Indigenous and Native American people must be when they read or listen to these stories of (mostly) white people butchering their culture and mythology. White people seeing skinwalkers everywhere drives me insane, and I'm white myself. It's like when a toddler learns a new word and uses it for everything, even if it's not appropriate. It's the new buzzword.

So I researched the shadowy mass in that cottage. That the Bedouin locals said the cottage was built someplace it shouldn't have been, while cryptic, is actually telling. They were implying that it was a Jinn. This was basically as big of a screw-up as building on a Native American burial ground.

My only takeaway is that I'm glad the tiger wasn't shot. It was their own stupidity and not taking care and being aware of their surroundings that put them in danger. This is why you don't straggle behind, people. If a park ranger is leading you on a hike, it's for a reason. Also, dear people: If you run into a "skinwalker" anywhere not on Navajo land, it's not a skinwalker.

Tigers growl as a warning, not an indication of being on the hunt. Predators do not warn their prey that they are about to attack. Vocalizing noises from predators can be found amongst those species that hunt in packs or pairs and it is the individual predators communicating with each other. Thus, the people that experienced the tiger growling were being warned, which is the reason they weren't attacked when they moved away from the tiger. Love your channel, long time subscriber, still think you are one of the best.

Infrasonic tones (low frequency) can do a lot of weird stuff to humans. It’s been studied that if you play infrasonic tones in the background (say while watching a movie or doing literally anything else) that you’ll most likely start to feel a bit anxious and uneasy while not knowing why. Psychologists have determined it’s most likely a fight-or-flight-like response to the tone because dangerous animals, like the tiger for example, can emit sounds like that which if you know anything about survival it’s that being scared and cautious/careful about something will usually save you in a dangerous situation. Evolution and all that jazz about not dying to other apex predators. Besides, tigers are massive and if a big creature is hidden but 10 feet from you making a rumbling sound, you could easily feel those vibrations throughout your body or surroundings. I’m sure you have felt similar vibrations in a car before or maybe standing near a metro station and you can feel the vibrations through the ground.
