I think it is super important to mention the star level for your Profundity in this counter. I have 5* and it has a lot more RNG involved and a slightly different turn order. You need to open with the 2nd Prof special as it gives speed up to your team. Any time I open with the 1st I lose the ult race even with a generous amount of assists and crits. Though it could be something else like my relic levels or mods on my pilots? Also worth noting if you want to be extra safe bring Phantom and Ghost. Send out Phantom and it takes the reinforcement death and allows you to then send out Ghost right after. If you lose your Y-wing in the end it can put your Outrider and Falcon in jeopardy of dying depending on how the battle was going. Appreciate your videos, keep it up!

You do raise a good point. Without 7* Profundity, you're not able to pass a bonus turn on your basic. That's the real trouble as it massively delays your ult. Once at 7* this is a non issue.

This is brilliant, I have all the moves down to killing the bomber. But what I find sometimes is that they still reinforce and still get the ultimate. I wonder what I’m doing wrong? My tie defender is only gear 10 at 6* at mo but working up to relic 5. Everything else is high relic.

This counter isn't good against sith assassin in the Lev line up. You need either palp shuttle as the second reinforcement or Gauntlet. It's not perfect but this one won't work because you'll fall behind TM train from SA

It actually works better vs Sith Assassin in my experience. I use the exact same loadout without anything extra. You have to watch out for more investment in the enemy sith assassin - i.e. the more investment in relics they have in Sith Assassin, the more you need in your TIE Fighter. Most times I can just one-shot the assassin before it gets running. If you don't do that, it certainly can fall apart.

Sith Fighter is an even easier lineup in my experience. It completely messes up the RI order for the Leviathan (they always call Interceptor first). You should always be hitting ult before the opponent with profundity - without their capital ship there's nothing they can do.

Both counters have some RNG involved. I used to win 100%. But recently I failed many times with both counters. For profundity, its no assists and no crits. For Chimera, sometimes 1st turn cannot reinforce. Sometimes they kill the defender (especially with opponents that have all 3 starting pilots at R9)

In my experience, the fail point on Profundity was losing y-wing and the protection healing it provides. If you get lots of y-wing assists leading to lots of bombs, and they do unusually high damage on their swarm, they can put y-wing down. Then it's not long before outrider dies, and you're done for.

The chimera counter is already nerfed. They hard target defender after their first rein stuns it so it can't dodge and it dies. Its downhill from there.

The sabotage is Leviathan's first special - but it needs its cooldowns reduced by causing debuffs first. Because of the TM gains from TFP (dodging) and the speed of the Chimaera, we get out 2 reinforcements before the Levi can get it's Sabotage off.

I have Chimaera fully upgrade, R7 Thrawn, all 6 dot mods, yet after first Dagger AOE and dodge by the Tie, my Chimaera reinforce is consistently only reduced to 1 turn remaining, NOT to an immediate reinforce. Any ideas why / what I’m missing?

Ahhhh, figured it out. Blasted game inserted 2 other ships on to my reinforcement list (as I practice in FA) and they weren’t all qualifying for the cal ship to gain its 5% TM per Interceptor’s kit.

I'm sorry you haven't had success with profundity yet. Saying "it doesn't work" is factually wrong, though - at least for now. CG are addressing this counter and changes are coming. However, profundity vs leviathan currently has a 90% win ratio. It definitely works *far* more often than it doesn't work. I've never lost with it, and even won with 77 banners in last week's 3v3. And used the chimaera to beat it the same week. Both 7* fleets.

They're great w/ Mando he breaks B-28's terminal taunt I get 2 seismic they made an Update on 8/13. I didn't try this team you used but I'm going to if I expect to find a way to counter. I was able to take out the weakling "Sith Fighter" after that though, their panties get in a bunch & get decimated.

Inquisitorius is a fantastic faction now :). I have no idea what your roster looks like so that's hard for me to tell. I unlocked Scythe & GI (2nd appearance) f2p. It has less to do with whether you've spent money or not and more around how much time is already invested in your roster and how well you've been performing in GAC/Fleet arena. I wouldn't expect a new player right now to have Scythe f2p, but again, that's an early game player.

The Profundity counter to the Leviathan was nerfed quite some time ago. However, the Empire counter works very well still :)
