I am well aware of Warrel Dane and his time with Sanctuary but I have never heard his band Nevermore, so the day has come to fix that! Nevermore and their song Believe in Nothing from the album Dead Heart in a Dead World, so are you ready for this? let's do it!

Nevermore was an American heavy metal band from Seattle, Washington, United States, formed in 1991. The band has been inactive since 2011, due to personal issues between the band members

My favorite from that album is Sentient 6. Overall just a killer album, honestly lol I would say there isnt a bad song on Godless Endeavor.

Nevermore is the most underrated metal band ever. Too many people havent heard of them and its sad. You really cannot go wrong with anything they put out. My personal favorites are Sentient 6, Sell My Heart For Stones, and The River Dragon Has Come. Jeff Loomis is one of the best guitarists ever and I highly suggest also listening to his solo albums as well as other projects especially if you enjoy instrumental metal. The project "Conquering Dystopia" with his friend Keith Merrow was mind blowing.

Just a tidbit of information: Warrel Dane wrote the lyrics...and the guitars are also his writing. Something few people realize. Their #1 song, written by the man himself when the powerhouse Jeff Loomis was the mastermind for their entire existence.

I love all of their songs. But, if you listen to Bittersweet Feast, there is something in the composition which makes the guitars really stand out. Especially during the verse: the heaviest wall of sound I’ve ever heard.

Yes this is one of their rock ballads. They have softer ones. But their usual sound is much faster, and complex. Dane died of a heart attack while recording his latest album. Loomis is now playing with Arch Enemy. Check out their song Enemies of Reality if you want any your mind blown.

Those are both ballads. They are way heavier. Jeff Loomis is one of the most amazing guitar players. To me The heart collector is one of their worst songs. Nevermore are my all time favorite band. 7 tongues of god and the river dragon are really good. This godless endeavor is a masterpiece.

Its a Tough Call.. Nevermore or WARREL'S LAUGH.... Warrel's Silence is Deafening.... Warrel was leaning against the Tour Bus when the Driver started moving the bus for some reason and his Hair was caught in the wheel. Another was waking up to Steel Crashing , Glass Exploding, Metal Guardrails Ripping Up and Twisting as they go Railing through the Tour Bus barely missing Him... Them by inches..

Great song, but not a good representation of what Nevermore is. They have so many heavy technical songs from the same album try The River Dragon.

I know this vid a year old, but you owe it to yourself to do a real nevermore song. This is nothing compared to what the vast majority of their music sounds like. Not even close. This Godless endeavor or Sentient 6 would have been the two I'd have recommended to start.
