When I read the book I loved the interwoven sex scene and killing scene and I really liked the way you edited them together in the episode! That shot with lightning and the silhouette of Mia behind the curtain? Goosebumps!

I gotta say, the dialogue sounds so natural and I LOVED THE SCENE WITH ART AT THE BEGINNING!!!!!!! It gave me Kill Bill vibes and it was so awesome. I’m so excited for the second episode I’m glad you kept it exactly like the book, I love this part💕💕💕💕💕

Ok, this is awesome, I think Piera is just sooo perfect for Mia and the rest of the cast seems (til now) also perfectly fitting. I also like how the scenes with the boy and the hangman which were simular written in the books were made. It even though it was bright all day the lightning was dark but still seemes legit. Shortest 8 minutes in my live.

Just wow 🤩 I wasn't sure how will you film the first chapter of the book but this was very well done! I'm not sure how people who haven't read the book will interpret this episode, if they will understand what's going on but I'm sure you'll explain it in the next 2 episodes! The production value was amazing. So proud of you and you’re team! The way you adapted the Caveat Emptor was unexpected but perfect. Amazing scenes! My only criticism is that the acting felt too ‘action and cut’ in some of the scenes such as between Mia and Mercurio, there needed to be more of the characters coming through (especially with Mercurio, although the actor is perfect for him) but I also understand that’s hard to put across in 8 minutes. Overall this was incredible and you’ve done justice to NN so far!! ❤️❤️

It took me a couple of MONTHS (because I am an I-D-I-O-T) to understand why I'm utterly obsessed with the animated intro and then, tonight my laptop screamed at me "THE NORTH BLEEDS!": Witcher 3 Wild Hunt, the animated sequence just as you enter the game. It gives me the same vibes and I have no words how awesome I find that to be because both, that intro to the game and this intro with Alinne and little Mia, haunt me now and then and actually inspire me. So much better than the Maximum Ride movie (not that that's a high bar by any means)! The only way I could see it being more epic would be if that shot of animated young Mia crying at the end of the animated bit had cut directly to your (Piéra's) face in the exact same position! The whole thing still gave me chills though! I might also have liked to have known who the hangman was WHILE she was killing him if I hadn't read the books...

This was so amazing! My only qualm with it was that the opening scenes basically give something away that you don’t learn until book 3. I watched the series after book one and I assumed it could be coincidental but it wasn’t.

It was amazing how the shadow cat was done. Looks pretty much just like a shadow, and as you left the frame, the shadow just kind of disappeared instead of moving. Nice touch.
