Throttle FREEPLAY Adjustment - 2021 Honda CRF125FB (Vid #6)

This video shows how to adjust throttle freeplay on the new 2021 Honda CRF125FB.
We purchased this new 2021 Honda CRF125FB (Big Wheel) from Western Honda in Scottsdale, on 2/26/2021. Our Salesman Dennis was great to work with and very helpful through the purchase process. This is video #6 in our 2021 Honda CRF125FB video series. We purchased this Honda trail bike with hopes that adults and our growing kids will make memories and find adventure while riding it. Have you used Torc1 Racing lock on grips? I have the Defy MX and they say that cam B will work. I cant get mine to work

We got the 250 for my daughter as a new rider. She’s 20 and quite tall but still light so it fits her physically quite well. The suspension is very soft and it’s a very easy bike to ride for a new rider even with the bigger engine. She had no problems lifting it up after a drop by using good technique. It’s a fun bike and great for new adult medium sized riders. Or as a step up from smaller riders with some experience.

Thanks for the vid but I’m still have trouble with my 2020 it has to much slack in the throttle we’re it moves side to side is there a solution for that?

Side to side? Describe that for me. Like the whole throttle grip moves side to side?

Nice! What is the second cable for? What if a do that freeolay trick on both cable?

Try it and let us know how it goes! I believe they both operate the throttle.

The cable with the jam nut you see in the video opens the throttle , the cable without the jam nut is the tension cable to “snap back” the throttle to closed/idle position. You only set the tension with the cable shown in the video . On some bikes , you can also adjust tension at the carburetor . Same set up. 10mm jam nut .

Just bought new 23 crf 110 and it won't idle. Is there adjustment on a fuel injected bike ?

That…I’m unsure of. Our new CRF110 has idled beautifully since day one.

You returned the dust cover before you tightened the locking nut up against the adjustment nut.

I’ve had this happen with my yz 250f, I had to spray some WD-40 on the cable to smoothen it out. It fixed my issue for good.
