What artifact do you recommend for a new player just hitting level 80? I am a warlock (dps)

see if you can obtain a Halaster blast scepter or a staff of flowers to start. they aren't overly expensive in the auction house. might take some time to save up though.

Hey man, in currently a level 63 Justicar Palidin and I'm wondering if you or anyone else could help me on a few questions. 1) Should I still be having trouble with zones that are my level? I know with the new scaling system its harder but i feel like a wet paper 2) Should I change my sub-class to the other one? 3) Should I have a legendary mount by now? Hey thanks for asking. 1) this is an adjustment period so players will be getting used to the new system of course. Make sure your defensive stats are very high. For a paladin tank, that should be no problem. Take a look at companions you have and see which ones can offer defense stats boosts. 2) switching to oathkeeper will not really change much as its a healer type and wont be as tanky as justicars. Doesnt hurt to try it out in a different loadout but gear and stat distribution may differ. 3) legendary mounts are still very rare. You can take a look on the auction house for a cheap siege bear to help or you can try upgrading mounts you have to legendary. Legendary mounts are not a must have, and no one should expect you to have one since they can only be obtained through lockboxes. Hopefully i helped out a little. I know the first answer was difficult but it is a learning process to get used to rebalancing our characters. My advice for combat is don't get surrounded. The combat advantage bonus against you can be the worst damage you take now.

I just hit 80 last night and I still kind of don't know what I'm doing. I just would like to increase my item level, but I don't know where to start for that. Any suggestions? I'm at item level 22k

Now that you've reached max level it should be a lot easier to find gear that has a higher item level. For gear, start with Avernus, specifically Vallenhas. It gas some good gear pieces to aim for that aren't too difficult to get. It might be tough to kill some of the enemies but take your time and only take on what you feel comfortable against. For artifacts and equipment sets, go through Undermountain and Avernus. Some really useful ones there. Companions and mounts are gonna be the toughest as they don't drop normally. Check tue collections page and auction house for ones that help with that ratings you want increased.

@@arndrake5116 nope. Just keep going through undermountain as normal. The goal is to finish the main storyline to get to the dungeons and master expeditions

Yeah, to activate on Xbox, hold down LB and press B. For PC, simply hit 3 on the keyboard. Not sure what it is for PS4/PS5, should be the same as Xbox.

Bro I know this is pretty late comment but where can I get the materials to level up my artifact. I think it's called regents or something. Good vids btw helped me alot

Yeah, marks of potency and enchanting stones can be found on various locations. Rank 1- 3 can occasionally be found in chests and daily invocation sometimes. 4+ ranks are harder to find. You can purchase them in the wondrous bazzaar, auction house, and the tarmalune trade bar merchant. Higher rank ones like rank 6 can be found in epic dungeon and trial chests as rare loot. Im glad you enjoyed my videos too

So the journals were obtainable in a special event "tales of old" I'm not entirely sure if its continuing. I do remember the devs saying they were going to make the set accessible somehow.

You should just have to talk to her, or the npc beside them, after you upgraded it.
