First time this music played was during the Drow/Duerger/Illithid siege in Hordes of the Underdark. With this music playing in the background a cutscene starts up where the Drow Siege Commander says "The first one of you to flee, I will cut down myself" pure and absolute video game awesomeness.

Personally, this song really hit me when the blood war broke out in the middle of Cania due to Mephistopheles absence. When I saw that Pitfiend being murdered (after having quested in Cania a bit, getting to know the inhabitants and realized that though the devils were evil they actually WERE just going about their lives and essentially minding their own business) by the Balor, I saw it as making a choice between two evils. I chose to go after the demons. Hell, my character even ended up becoming friends with the Quarry Boss.

@@jakobrose8278 It was a perfect moment for this soundtrack. I remember standing in the frozen battlefield, killing everything moving around with a greataxe and Cleave feat. I intentionally stayed in this placed until I kill everything what came out of portals. It was insane.

This is the best dlc/expansion by far. Drow, mindflayers, duerger, dope companions, etc. it's just really good. This is the expansion that made me love the underdark and drow.

This is the way. There's a reason they nerfed this spell when they retooled 3rd Edition D&D into D&D 3.5 so that nobody took damage during Time Stop and kept that change going forward. Of course that doesn't stop you from dropping spells like Delayed Blast Fireball or Cloudkill before Time Stop ends so that they get hit by it the moment the come out of it.

i prefered it maximized. 1 storm did 240 damage, even to a single target LOL. its ideal for that purpose. for multitarget i preferred firebrand and some other powerful area spells. maximized firebrand was also nasty for 90 damage to every target in that area...thats way more than a maximized missile storm if u hit more than 2 targets!

+Cyric Theres a big diffrence between DLCs and Expansion Packs you know. DLCS are fun but they only had 1-5 hours of gameplay, Expansion Packs feels like a completely new adventure. Expansion Packs > DLCs

***** Yeah that too, though to be fair some expansion packs are kinda lame and short, like for example Nwn SoU and all the premium modules, and TES4: Knights of the Nine. And some dlcs are almost longer than 5 hours like TES5 Dawnguard or Dragonborn, and Trespasser in Dragon Age, while its only a couple of hours its a great ending to the game. Its too bad most developers dont seem to care for expansion packs nowdays though, the only memorable expansion packs i remember in the recent years are DAO: Awakening or GW2 Heart of Thorns.

During the battle with Valsharess my halfling sorcerer summoned a red dragon and turned into a red dragon himself, it just felt so cool to do. Two giant dragons staring down that elf girl while the devil is laughing in the background.

All rights should now be reserved by Beamdog since they recently acquired the rights to Neverwinter Nights, and have re-released it as the Enhanced Edition. All EE servers are now listed in-game, and (so I have been told) it can still Direct Connect to the old 1.69 servers.

Well, most of the programmers at Beamdog were the same programmers who created the game while working at Bioware, so they did make it even though it was under another company name. I've been told that if you buy the EE from GOG now, you get Diamond Edition bundled with it, so although technically you do have to buy the EE (and pay more), functionally you can still buy Diamond Edition and use it. And the price isn't outrageous even though it's a bit higher now.

Not just music, in general games like this are completely lost this days. Good RPG games are NOWHERE to be found, just the crap with good graphics and some rpg elements which makes you repeat the same quests a hundred times making it last the game 100 hours. Damn boring games nowadays, we need more D&D awesomeness like NWN, BG, IWD, Torment (the old one not the new). Even when Pillars of eternity or tyranny or numenera are enjoyable, they lack the "awesome" part, at least for my taste. Oh and I forgot Siege of Dragonspear, that was complete crap with the decisions they made... Well, back to play some Neverwinter Nights HotU, this games will never die :D

Voices. People expect recorded voices. Once synthetic voices are indistinguishable from real ones large walls of texts can once again be fed into npcs lists of what they have to say. Still that is just one of the reasons.
