great podcast guys.... What I think would be a really viable and doable idea is if mastercrafted item began being scaled up stat wise matching new mods. For instance, Joe crafts an item of iL 1250 in mod18 and the stats were for instance 7000 crti/5000def...... next mod the item that Joe had crafted now scaled up in stats with the mod so that it would match the iL and stats of the new mod gear implemented. :)

Great discussion between all of you. Good to see everyone's different views. I think everyone would love to have some sort of infinite dungeon with crafting mats thrown in.

They should reintroduce SKT style encounters for each zone where you acquire materials like Lanolin etc. The best way for Professions to grow, is introducing Restoration Gear and remove MW or place MW into the Workshop. Each zone/campaign should have Recipes that you can purchase for your Workshop etc.

Found this to be very interesting discussion some pros and cons of what I heard. Con - kept hearing the word I especially when on the double events. I think you can get rid of this event because I don't really participate. Oh but don't get rid of this because I do. Aka mastercrafting vs double rp. That's just not acceptable for analysis. Mastercrafting cdp should be held with master crafters. Pros - like idea of a dungeon to get Matt's. It should be an additive to what's out there. Cons - why r you concerned about am army of crafters. Everyone wins and earns ad. If the concern is about under cutting in the auction house make it fixed prices Pro - agree about the mechanics. It's what makes the TOMM fun. The fact the kill group can still fail. Idea for a cool dungeon have a 10 man team run through 5 mega bosses aka strahd, orcus etc, until they get to the dreaded last boss. If a member dies they are out and can't continue on shrinking the team but by bit. Allow people to he rezed but no scrolls. Something like that, how cool would that be. Rewards should be upgraded.

I believe the point sharpedge was making, was: If the game is designed well we don't need double events, and most double event are exploited by the "whales" in game (he lumped himself into that category) to such a point that they create a competitive advantage that a normal player cannot overcome. He isn't wrong, A player like me with 50+ characters crafting, lots of MW experience, and a huge currency surplus to take advantage of double events has a distinct advantage when it comes to crafting. The average crafter cannot compete in that environment because the larger crafters have a lower baseline cost for everything.

@@LordWillow the solution isn't to keep others from obtaining those extra Matt's though. You already have a ton of matts. So to ruin the chances for others to obtain double mats is obscured. Everyone believes that crafting is only used for making like rings or weapons. Some craft for farming guild Mark's for food. Maybe that's the other way to create more positivity towards crafting. Enable crafters create more viable constables. This way it's more beneficial throughout future mods as well. Please understand I wasn't attacking either. A lot of people love this game. Criptic nurffs way to much. We need consistency. Every time someone mentions nerfs neverwinter player base shrinks. Like it or not a lot of players enjoy double Matt's. Why take that away from them. Newer players can't compete because of the armies of farmers u say, then make the Matt's account bound or at a set price on the auction house or zen market.

I would love to have some form of skill in dungeons. I agree with Rainer, give me puzzles or a mechanic like FBI or even CN

No grinding for raw mats to drop from dungeons please as we all know how crappy the drop rates have been for manticore manes/hides from FBI and other mats from MSP, and T9G dungeons! I am fine with getting maps and go to locations and dig them up! For busy folks having not much time, the maps and digging mats up are quick for us knowing it’s guaranteed. If we have to even form group for dungeons to complete in order to just a rare chance for mats to drop, then not worth my time!

The positive side of having the drops is that they are unbound and can be sold, therefore controlling the supply, as well getting other folks not crafting to have skin in the game. Running maps very quickly becomes a scale problem, as there are people out there with the time and currency to farm so many maps that your own farming becomes pointless... and from my perspective there are very few things in this game more mind numbing than run Explorers charts for 12 hours straight (and yes I've done that many times).
